I feel like a good idea for a release is a bunch of "confused soaps" or "mystery soaps" basically the designs are like, the opposite of the fragrances. So blueberry scent would be with like an orange soap or a super flowery scent could go with a cake design soap or vanilla in a chocolate bar soap or peppermint swirl but surprise it's tropical fruit.

Heck yeah!! There's many bakery themed soaps you could make in browns if they have a vanilla theme to them!!
i feel like there'd have to be unfragranced swirls or middle layers or in bar embeds to give colour pops to stop it being boring .
I wonder if a vanilla soap would do well in brown colors, some TD, the color the scent makes and a darker brown? Maybe a vanilla cinnamon?!
@@ystacalden I mean, not really. I've bought brown-colored soaps plenty of times, especially dessert-themed bars. It's no more boring than a brown chocolate-scented candle is, or an an _actual_ dessert, like a brownie drizzled with chocolate syrup.
I would love it if you did a fruit bat / flying fox themed soap. Maybe with fruit embeds and a bat cane inside or fruit insides and batty embeds. They are awesome pollinators that we would be lost without! And cute. And always in need of people highlighting the difficulties they have, especially in the US and Australia. Bats are awesome. 🦇🦇🦇

I found this channel down the TH-cam rabbit hole one night like two and a half years ago and honestly no regrets, I’m obsessed with all soap now and my hair is so healthy since I’ve switched to bar shampoo and conditioner
Next year the birthday soaps should be based on the zodiacs! That would be sooooo fun!
For anyone wondering about those shampoo and conditioner bars, I bought the wild honey ones and have been using them for a while now and they’re awesome! I highly recommend! (If anyone’s wondering about hair type, I have very thick wavy 2B hair and have a very dirty outdoor job and they keep my hair clean and hydrated.)
Some tips for fence-building for the garden! If you don't mind the look of it, metal emt from home depot works pretty well for posts because you can just cut them down to size and hammer them into the ground, no digging required. Then use some tie wire to attach the fence and you're good. If you wanna do wooden posts , thats fine too, but GET A POST-HOLE DIGGER. You'll save your back. If the dogs try and dig underneath the fence, take some chicken wire and use tie wire to attach the top half to your existing fence and use landscaping staples to staple the bottom half to the ground. I puppy-proofed my entire yard doing this. Hope your garden does well!
My Mom's favorite phrase was to call people, Sweetie. Relevant side story... Back in 88, when she found out she was going to be a grandma, she was so excited to find out what her grandma name would be. Her Mom was Nana to us grandkids, her older sister was Meema to her grandson.... you get the gist. It was probably around when my niece was 2 going on 3, we put her on the phone with my Mom, and she says "Hi, Grandma Sweetie." I remember screaming, MoOOOOooOOOooM! YOU GOT YOUR GRANDMA NAME! Lots of happy tears were shed. She was Grandma Sweetie ever since. All those times she called people Sweetie, were returned to her, tenfold.

I would recommend raised garden beds
They are really comfortable for the back and the knees to work with, it can look really georgous and the dogs are not likely to dig it out
On that note if u have a patio or what not you can always do some container gardening it’s very back friendly. And relaxing

My birthday soap is orange citrus?! You are a mind reader, cuz those are my favorite scents, both to wear and smell. While my friends were living that Cucumber Melon or Warm Vanilla Sugar life, I was all about the Sun-Washed Citrus/White Citrus/Citrus Punch (whichever one they sold in the late 90s).
The whole color palette reminds me of the 60s and 70s and i am loving it!

maybe she got costumer feedback with soap bars breaking apart at the mica lines? I don´t know, it`s just a guess because i experienced this issue several times with my selfmade soaps that had mica lines inbetween the layers :(

I also think in "most efficient" and people are always telling me Im obnoxious when I say "it would be easier if you did this instead" so its nice to hear that trait being praised
Taz. Not everyone truly appreciates "most efficient" thinking. The other one I get a lot is - "just give me the short answer." Or "I don't need the long explanation, just tell me: fill in the blank"... To either of the questions, when I give the bare bones shortest of answer, or simply a Yes or No ... Then they're mad at Me because they don't understand ... And I end up having to give the long answer or explanation anyway. Which is why I just started answering that way because it was easier. Can't Win either way. Especially since I'm not just "efficient thinking" but advanced and anticipatory. I used to get asked if I was psychic or something, a lot. I'm like Radar from M*A*S*H, MONK from Monk, Shaun from Psych among others. I grew up reading Sherlock Holmes and watching Ellery Queen, (very few know of or remember), Perry Mason, Columbo, and countless more (good) "Whodunit" series... NOW most series are so basic and boring that watching Katie make Soap is Way more appealing.
You forgot Bob Ross' name? D: He was a big part of my childhood. Even though I'm German and I didn't speak English at the time, my dad always called me to the living room when they showed episodes of Bob Ross on TV, of course untranslated. I didn't understand a word he said, but the sound of his voice alone calmed so much - and watching him paint was like magic. Now I'm all grown up, a painter (albeit a watercolor artist, not oil paint) and I still love watching episodes of him :3

Dessert/bakery line with:
Lemon meringue or key lime pie - high top with a pale yellow flat base, then swirls of either yellows or greens
Choc raspberry brownie - two tone brown swirl with a vibrant red drop
Cinnamon buns - bring back the previous cinnamon bun soap
Cherry pie - reds and a very pale yellow drop swirl
Maybe a lavender shortbread, or blueberry muffin?
My brain went to all the yummy bakery items that don't have vanilla as a base scent when she bemoaned not doing a bakery/dessert line.

For your fences, if you’re doing any kind of metal posts, I HIGHLY recommend getting/renting a manual post driver. It’s hard work, yes, but will make your life SOOOO much easier than trying to do it all by hand with a shovel. I’m sure there are tons of tutorials on the TH-cams.
