please please give a demo on how to remove the motor head from the stick when the canister needs emptying....I'm having the worst time trying to get it off the stick !!! Btw I have the V10 motorhead ..... Thanks for your time
I watched a video that said you shouldn’t over clean the inside of the dirt canister. The rubber seals need a little dust on them so you can easily open the canister. Sounds weird, but that is what they said. So, don’t over clean the dust/dirt canister and it should be easier to empty. Mark

I'd like to know the ACTUAL weight difference between the smaller Motorhead and the Cyclone V10s. When it was introduced, it was supposed 5.5 vs 5.9 lbs. But now, V10 Cyclone is listed on Dyson as 5.7 lbs. Not sure who is right....

Hi! I’m just wondering if you could either tell me or show the power button stages? I have a V10 Motörhead. It displays one black dot, two black dots and then BOOST. I had a warranty issue and was sent a different motor. It now has the two black dots but says MAX for the third option?? They are both red? So I am wondering why the difference and with 3 types of v10s in a sense. I’m wondering which one I have or if the models vary in what they say on the power switch! Hope that makes sense. Thank you!
I have a question, a lot of people are saying that these batteries generally last from one year to 18 months before they need a replacement battery which are not cheap, the warranty does cover them but it is an hour on the phone troubleshooting with customer service before you can have one mailed out at a speed of 10 business days. Do you find it to be true that the batteries really need to be replaced that often? If so I will be sticking with my ball animal 2.
Really no. But according to dyson, they state that the batteries can hold their charge up to 15 yrs. Lets say you charge em to 100%. They state in 15 yrs, the charge will only drop to about 80%. It just states the longevity of the battery. But results may vary depending on usage

@@rhettmunson8051 i actually dont. However ive tested these in the stores and i would say to go with either the v8 animal or v10 animal if you want more dirt pick up capacity. If you have a lot of hardfloors, then go with the absolute model of either one. And i would recommend getting it from dyson's website because if you register it, you can also select some free tools - especially for the v10 animal and absolute as well as an awesome storage kit called "dyson dok". Its worth $150 but if you get the absolute v10 version, you can get the dok + a free set of tools - both free

The debree would act as an experiment better if you simply stomped on it or made it stick to the carpet more .. rather than just laying it on the carpet... agree?
You need to fix your audio. Super loud when the vacuum is going and really low when you’re speaking. Have to have my volume at max to hear you, then my ears bleed when you cut to the vacuum.

The rubber gasket on the Torque drive is what makes it pick up less than the Motorhead. The gasket smears dirt around.

Hi Lori. The Absolute includes a soft roller cleaner head and we've found that this particular head does the best job on bare floors.

Its only good for carpet. You would need the other roller for hard floors which you can buy extra
