"He had it rough and he hurt a lot of people,to some people he will always be Jack the Ripper.... but thats not the Raiden i know...the Raiden i know,is a hero!".
Woah woah woah! I'm mentioned as an inspiration here!? Wow! Thanks for the shout out! I'm honored to have influenced these great remixes! I wish you further luck on your future projects! :D
***** No problem, man! Your remix of Red Sun was the song I was mostly referring to - it was both really well done and pretty inspirational for my own take on the song, lol. Thanks, and good luck with your own projects, as well! :)
It has been 7 year's and our Raiden is Still is a Hero, he will continue to be one......... Rest in power the best Apprentice of Snake... you sure Carried snakes ideas
Dude, your mixes are a real inspiration; I listen to them while I'm working at my job (graphic designer), also while I'm doing homework, and even when browsing the web. I enjoy how the mixes are reminiscent on how they played in the game, the instrumental to vocals, this is a game which I love most dearly. Congratulations, I wasn't present when you were still developing those, but I know how much effort went on these mixes.
I'm not of the mind-set that views equal perfection, but I appreciate the sentiment, lol. There's a couple very minor details about Spirit of the Wolf that I glossed over in the original video (a transition or two was kinda off). Unfortunately, I don't have the original edited file anymore (just the rendered song), but if I did, you'd bet I'd fix them. Regardless, it's probably the closest I've come to a "perfect" mix. I think I can live with that. :)
@@MonoChromium honestly. the songs have an energy to them that resonates with the times. it's hard to mess up something that speaks truth with a beat that stirs the emotions for the feelings of the times they describe. your mixes complement the beat and i have to say you make the best remixes of this games songs. You've got serious talent, and when compounded with the talent that went to making the original songs you created something truly great.
Hopefully you read this man, your Nano-Mix Remix was blocked. It was one of my favorite remixes and for someone to copyright strike it for no reason, that's just messed up. I hope you fight this claim and know that we all have your back. Your remixes are more than remixes, they're literally works of art and I'm glad I found them.
I just want to thank you for these mixes, they are great! They have given me so much energy!! Have a nice day, and week and everything, you deserve it!!
And so the mixes end. Im sad now...and at the same time happy :D Now to get some stuff on MY channel. Need to make a working static transition since my editing stuff is outdated. Working on the Misadventures in Ys series...where I show off TONS of the things I hate about Ys games....yet I still love the series :D Alot of it is glitches though.
It'll feel weird to not be editing these together anymore. Still, I'm glad they're over with. I have an influx of other videos to edit and upload, lol. And that'll be cool, man! Can't wait to see it! :)
They say great things come from the simple challenges. I'd say that the last year or so has been an example. This coupled with some gameplay and cutscenes from Rising could really be something special. Not that you would have to do any of it that is.
I think I'm gonna take a little break from MGRR for a while. I've basically been playing it for the past year while these mixes were going up, lol. That said, I had that challenge run of the game being uploaded a while back that I ended off early (I was trying to upload too many things at once). I'll think about reviving it once I feel like playing the game again. :)
I'm not sure, honestly. I've got a couple of vague ideas for remixes, but at this point, I'm more worried about buying the software I need to make them (probably FL Studio). Once I get that, I'll focus more on the music part, lol.
Oh so you decided to do this song after all. It sounds like you really got something out of this whole experience, good for you. And wait, I got a mention? Cool, I wasn't expecting that.
Yeah, it was a lot of fun for me, and it was really cool seeing all of the comments and feedback I got over the past year from this series. Yep, figured I'd mention the people who gave me name suggestions. Even if the suggestion didn't make it into the videos, you guys still gave me some cool ideas when I thought about how to name them when they were being uploaded. :)
***** Can't say I've lost any inspiration so far. Right now, the only issue is getting some money together so that I can buy a better mixing program, but I've got plenty of ideas once that gets all straightened away. :)
No problem! :) And I unfortunately can't provide a download link, because I don't own the rights to the song myself (they're owned by Platinum and their respective partners). That being said, if you Google "TH-cam to MP3", I'm sure you'll find a solution. :)
At some point I'de recommend you do a combination video of the chorus from all the themes working up towards the final or in order of epicness, or whatever, I'll leave you to work with the idea.
To tell you the truth buddy, i prefer your "The Lost Mix" over the "Kindred Spirits ~ Nano-Mix, Son". In my opinion, the vocals that you have inserted when the "It has to be this way" part feel out of tone and it was kinda bugging me. On the other hand, "The Lost Mix" feels more accurate to me without the vocals there.
Understandable, man. I personally prefer The Lost Mix, as well, but I've received a bunch of comments saying that people really liked the vocal overlay. I figured if I uploaded both of them, it'd let people choose which one they liked and let that one represent my mix of It Has To Be This Way for them.
***** Nice to see your approval of people's different representations. I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the spectacular job that you have done for all the MGR Mixes. It was a nice journey for us listeners and i believe that you have a great talent and a good ear and i wish you keep coming up with more cool creations such as these mixes. :)
spidey450 Thanks, man. It was quite a journey for me, as well, lol. And once I get my hands on some better song mixing software, I'll do my best to keep on making some cool mixes for you guys. :)
Fabricio Fonseca Solis That's the ending track. I believe it's simply called "Ending", but it's not on the soundtrack. I've seen it on TH-cam previously, but the audio rips of the game's soundtrack tend to get taken down due to copyright pretty often. If you search for it on TH-cam, search for "Metal Gear Rising Ending Cutscene Music". That's probably your best bet.
+Ankhseram's Greatest Victim Some company called merlin idol made a copyright claim on it. After making about 2 minutes of research it seems like these guys have been making a lot of false copyright claims. Bunch of twats.

I'm no expert, but 84,000 views on Spirit of the Wolf begs to differ.
