- Welcome to 1880 Town, South Dakota! The Little Town on the Prairie that unlike other ghost town type attractions, had nothing to do with mining, and in fact isn't a ghost town at all! This movie location-turned-historical town was built from real Prairie town buildings abandoned all across the northern plains, and dragged in to create something authentic and yet dreamlike on the side of the highway, a Roadside attraction that feels familiar and yet unlike any other! Come see Dances with Wolves props and filming locations, Kevin Costner's rump location, incredible buildings, the most realistic Old West Saloon, and so much more in 1880 Town! Just west of Murdo, South Dakota!

It IS wonderful to see the kids learning our Country's history especially being able to see the ACTUAL machines, buildings, clothes, the entire beginning of life in the "Old West"". Ad kids, our parents took us to EVERY attraction, museum n historical scenarios, n it is almost a lost past time, but EXCELLENT vloggers like you, Justin Scarred, ate helping our history be COOL n make a resurgence in our culture!!! Thank you ever so!!!
I now have South Dakoda on my bucket list.
How cool that the dad was a collector of old west memorabilia. Love your animation Justin. It added so much to the video.
I'm brand new here. My husband and I travel all over and our goals are always well preserved and not so preserved towns like rhis. Didn't know about this town! Epic! Loved it.
Thankyou! Next adventure....here.
!❤
They’ve done that here in Tucson there’s a little town that they made a movie at or a series and built some other stuff there now it’s a nice little town you can visit😊
Yeah! Saw my first steam powered giraffe concert there! Fell in love with that place which wasn’t part of the plan. Miss being so close to there. Awesome place.
I am from Sioux Falls and I've driven by this place since 19Xx, I haven't been by for awhile and WOW, I can't believe how much it's grown.
Fantastic video man, you're great! Very enjoyable and entertaining.
Thank you, thank you!❤❤❤ I've shared your video everywhere even to the UK😊

We're from the UK and shipped our motorhome over to tour the UK this year, highly recommend this place, we had a right laugh and dressed up for $10!! Nearly couldn't get my husband out of the sheriff's outfit 😂❤
Jeezz. THAT is epic. Soo much stuff collected. ...and where do you see back alleys in a western town. Its simply amazing!! Not to mention all the work that is behind this place. A must visit. Hereby on my bucket list.
Wow! I am going to add this place to my travel bucket list! Thank you for making this awesome video!
I would drive all the way from Virginia to S. Dakota just to see this place.
COOL TO SEE THAT TRAIN!
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you!
Truly amazing place. Your history focused vids are my favorite. They are excellent!
EPIC WESTERN TOWN!
We loved our visit here and dressed up for $10...such a bargain for such a laugh 😂❤
Great video and thanks for the entertaining tour 🐪 . Didn’t think I’d watch the whole thing but I did haha
OMG THAT TRAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the 14th June 2005, I robbed that bank even robbed the sheriff, with photographs and video to prove it. I also played the piano on the stage in the saloon while my wife danced on the stage. It was not a planned visit but one of the best places I ever visited on a vacation from Livingston Scotland.
I drove by this old western town at least 50 times I was a long haul trucker for over 30 years...
I didn't get as far as you did by going out to the homestead, it's a neat spot along the interstate. Also, I like the sculpture of the person walking a dinosaur.
Love western stuff. Lived in Tucson for 3 years and visited Tombstone often. Miss that place. 1880 in a South Dakota town makes me curious if you’ve ever seen the show Deadwood?
You would love Bannack Montana
I've been there it was awesome we had lunch and one of the boxcars who is there for a couple hours it was totally awesome my recommended anybody to go see it 👍👍👍👍✌✌✌✌😎😎😎😎
I had sarsaparilla here and got jokingly disrespected by the stage coach driver or crewmen.. pretending to call me to a fight. Very immersive
THE OLD WEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe possibly mike and frank from American pickers have been here
Oh that's interesting, thanks.
👏👏👏
Real life Valentine
They could put up some electric car station, while people visit this town.
Nice dude, cute. :3
Do you have to hand in your guns before entering?
No one died back then with there being no undertaker or cemetery 🤔 Zombies everywhere! 😂
love seeing this place, but you get REALLY tiring... ruins the video - too over the top
Is there a reason both u an Adam feel the need to sound old
You really know how to ruin what should be a slow tour of the old west. Slow down.
You ruined the video with the non stop talking after 5 minutes I had a headache.
not even worth watching, as i was there ! style is immature! 👎
