I have not. I definitely plan to give it a try. I've read the side wall is softer than the JX8 so it rolls a little more at speed. That's not really a concern for me though..... yet ;)

Oh and I was running the Michelin Extreme with a plushie bib. Great everywhere except the really soft loose dirt.

I have heard great things about the VE as well. At Fallen Timbers in the spring, alot of guys were switching to it when they saw the rain.
Did you try ix09? I find it way better for this conditions than JX8
