When I saw the old leaf springs on the front end of this old country caddy, she told me she was very special as can be and for old country boy she is as lovely as can be. Nice old truck. Yep, am so glad somebody didnt dump a dime a dozen Chevy motor in it. Does sound like maybe a top end rebuild needed. I dont have the money anyways, so hate to be a critic! Definitely a head Turner if driven around!

My Dad had a 1950 F1, had a V8 flathead engine, manual shifter on the column, manual steering. You turned the key on and then pressed the starter button.

Originally that was the starter button on the left side of the dash. My grandfather had a truck like this and I can’t tell you how many times I got in trouble when he would be checking his tobacco barns and I would be pushing the starter button with out turning the key and making the truck jump.😂😂😂 Yes , I was hardheaded.
