Fall Crappie fishing is finally here!!! That did crush that jig several times! I am very impressed on how well that worked with the Crappie! A few got off, was that due to the sharpness of the hook or just not getting a good hook set? LOL, you answered my question at the end of the video! Great video Cody! Thanks for sharing! Semper Fi brother!
That Arkie lured them right in! Some very nice Crappie, Cody. That’s smart adding the split shot to sink the jig faster. The fishing is starting to pick up for the Fall!
Hey, Cody! That Arkie Hair Jig was working! I love them. They make nice jigheads, too. I get em' from Wal Mart. I am gonna get a kayak one of these days- good exercise, and definitely up close and personal with the fish!
Thank you, you'll love kayak fishing. My poor boat hasn't been out since the middle of May. I need to get that girl on the water. Just been enjoying the kayak too much!
Great job Cody! Getting on some crappie with the Shinee Hinee! I keep looking at those and the Bobby Garland little packs of baits. Nice set up with the bait caster and 10 foot rod.
Thanks Stacee, I love the Bobby Garland lures too. Thought I'd give these a shot, they worked very well. I just put that baitcaster on that 10' rod. I had a spinning reel on it before, but I like the control of a baitcaster. I'm sure I'll keep it on moving forward.
Agreed, fishing in the wind on a spot is hard. I do my best to face into the wind, so I can pedal as-needed to try and hold position. If it's too windy I won't fish like that, just bass fish down the banks.

Thanks Jim, yeah those that got off were my fault. That bite is picking up for sure. Semper Fi, Brother!

Thanks Chris, it was nice to target crappie again. Those Arkie hair jigs are good little lures. Appreciate ya, brother!
Great job on this fishing trip using your hair jigs. Thanks for sharing a awesome fishing trip out of the kayak! 💫💫💫💫💫💯
Thanks Domingo, I should probably use hair jigs more often! Your custom white jigs seem to always be on fire.
You rocked those crappie with the Hair Metal. 🤘
Thanks man, fun time targeting crappie for a change of pace.
Awesome fishing, looked like a lot of fun.
Thank you!

Great job, you put yourself right on them!!!
Thanks for watching!
I've never really tried hair jigs for crappie. I might have to give it a shot!
I haven't fished them much either, but t's a nice change of pace. I have a another brand I'll be testing soon.
Do you anchor up on fish or just manually maintain boat position? It's not easy on a kayak with any appreciable wind.
