Gorgeous bluegill and that cat was so much fun to see! Funny you had that happen. I hooked a catfish last week on 2lb line. Fought him for about 2 minutes before line finally snapped. It will sure put a smile on your face when something that big bites the other end of your ultralight setup! Love it! That new spot looks great. Sure was productive.

It's hard to beat the ol' trusty nightcrawler! I'd say that Catfish was 3 1/2 pounds but he fought like he was 10

I've caught more fish on night crawlers than any other bait.
You just can't go wrong with them! It's how my gramps taught me on his farm ponds when I was a kid (after i dug them up of course). :)
