Many owners in the US, somewhere are not satisfied with its face. But here in India, we are able to enjoy the WW II era appearance and we cherish it immensely. The vibe of 20th century continues...........
Gotta love the older look for sure… But it’s the utility and reliability that sells these machines. I think Mahindra does a great job keeping this utilitarian workhorse alive! Thanks to our brothers and sisters in India for manufacturing this iconic vehicle 😎
Well I did it, I just bought one, so far it's great, lots of low end torque, I have a few hefty hills and in 2nd gear low it will idle all the way down and back up with out any change in rpm's, exactly what I was hoping for. I just enjoy putting around on the trails.
I love this thing more and more every day lol It’s been priceless on my farm, I have really been working it to drag cedar logs out of the woods… I haul water for my Apple Orchard (2,500 lbs worth). This thing is a real workhorse and worth every penny 😁
I love that Roxor! I wanted one bad but then I retired. I love the diesel engine they have! Very strong and dependable! Man! I'm jealous!!! HaHa! Enjoy it and it will make you happy for a long, long time!
You can get them at the right price now… Apparently they are not selling fast , these fellas in Dry Ridge KY, are selling them about $1200 over cost… I’m loving this thing so far! Glad you enjoyed the video my friend 👍
Thanks for showing a basic stock version. So many TH-cam videos on these are heavily modified. Which is fine. But I want to see what you get for a basic model.
I’m in Dry Ridge, I’ve been looking at these , thanks for the review. When I first looked at these I noticed the differential appeared to have a place for an output shaft for a PTO.
Believe it or not they do! I found some articles online about it, I guess Mahindra has some plans for that being functional 🤷♂️ I love this Roxor and would highly recommend them, and Cornerstone Equipment is an awesome company to work with. Let me know how you like it when you get one 😎
This new style looks great in black! I've seen these base models advertised online in Indiana for $16.7k. How close did your local dealer come to that price?
I bought this for 16,900 at a local dealer near me, Mahindra had a rebate on them at the time of purchase. I’m not sure what they are going for now though.
@@lastminuteman your price closely matches the lowest price i see advertised by some dealers in Indiana. So that's good to hear that you get an out the door price without any bs added (i assume just tax, since that was how they quoted my tractor). Hey man, thanks for your quick response!
The build quality is outstanding. If you were to compare the Roxor to any other sxs on the market, there’s no doubt that the Roxor is the best in the industry. It’s a true road worthy vehicle, tough as nails, and fun! Hope this helps 👍
They are bigger than a Ranger… The Polaris has a wheelbase of 73” and a width of 58” While the Roxor has a wheelbase of 96” and a width of 62” For me it works great in my woods, it’s not too big to work the trails, and it has the power to pull logs and firewood…
@@lastminuteman ok. so it literally is about the same as a wrangler. If you had to be unbiased, for just farm running around and trail riding - would you take a roxor or ranger - im leaning toward a roxor simply because I like the look. My cousin has a northstar ranger and its awesome (radio, navigation..etc) but Im not sure I like the look of it. But the ride is nice. Thanks for the feedback buddy
@@USMC-1 I drove everything and turned over every rock before choosing the Roxor. Honestly the only thing I liked as much was the Honda 700. But it didn’t have the utility that the Roxor has… It really comes down to your intended use and personal preference. If you ride the trails a lot and haul the vehicle to a location, I would pic the ranger. If you plan to do farm work and fun on the trails… I went with the Roxor I hope this helps, let me know what you went with 👍
I wish GM would start making square bodies again and beef them up like they did this jeep clone. I’d love to see a remake of the barn door suburban with tube frame and 1 tons and an optional diesel or big block V8.
Good video. Don't hold my feet to the fire here, but I "THINK" the reason they have such low numbers as far as hauling and towing is to ensure the vehicle stays within the UTV regs of max allowable numbers, before it moves to a whole new classification, and thus new regs that put it into more of an on road vehicle, and then all the safety regs come into play like airbags, and crash testing and on and on. I "THINK" to be classified as a side by side, the GVWR needs to be under 1,700kg or 3,750 pounds, and the curb weight of the Roxor is pushing that number already, so to stay within specs, they just say the max load is "XYZ" and they come in juuuust under the max allowable weight. Also, as far as towing, of course it can tow much more, but you also have to be able to stop that load with just the vehicles braking system, and on your hills, that's something to keep in mind. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do to this thing. Keep up the great work.
Good info, that makes sense and honestly is more likely the case than what I’ve heard. As far as towing, I have hauled water (over 2000 lbs worth) on my property, and so far so good… That’s well below it’s rating, and I’ve got some video of it on here. I appreciate you taking the time to comment, and clarifying the load capacity enigma 👍

The functionality is what brought me to the vehicle personally, but the original CJ look is iconic

It's because of Jeep. They filled a case against roxor because it looks too similar to their wrangler
