Not sure if just lobbing fish back in the water is the ideal method of returning undersized fish, make a measuring board, trying to measure a flapping fish on a rolling boat with a tape measure is pretty amateur and stick some sea water In ya ice makes a nice cold slush and doesn’t mark up the fish as much, makes your catch more valuable when it comes to selling time,as a registered fishing vessel I’m guessing it’s not just for fun.
You've obviously got a lot of nice gear but much of an idea???? When fish are clearly undersized don't leave them flapping around on the deck. Plus I'd be very surprised if that bass survived, their gills are incredibly sensitive, just sticking your fingers up there will cause them to bleed and that's irreversible without pulling the hook out. Finally if you're keeping fish why not dispatch them? This isn't just aimed at you but if you're going to put video's online you have to do things correctly or run the risk of all fishermen and women being tainted by the same mistakes. You're in an incredibly fortunate position by the looks of things, please take 5 minutes to do things the right way.
Thanks for the comment Peter. I welcome feedback. Unfortunately not all fish are perfectly hooked, I rinsed away the blood and put some water through his gills, long enough to make a helpful minimum landing size comparison. I dispatch the fish with a sharp blow behind the eyes, just don’t show it on camera.
You are not very experienced at what you do bud why hare you messing about with fish on the floor put a measure tape on your cool box then you can lay the fish on it straaway if undersized unhook and put back minimal time on the boat and that bass bleeding out will not survive, I am now 63 years old and was in commercial fishing most of my days you need to ask in your harbour for help and get things right before you get yourself a bad name on here ,any good angler will give you pointers and no shame in asking for help ,you have all the gear but no idea on how to handle fish the right way please Takeshi on board and I mean no disrespect to you but you have a nice boat loads of gear learn to use it all the right way with good knowledge of the fish and how to look after them and you will do ok
Thanks for the feedback Gordon. I would say ‘some idea’ not no idea. Every time I head out is a learning experience. There have previously been similar comments. I have already actioned some improvements. I hope you enjoy the videos going forwards
Hi Bryne, thanks for your comment. I think I will buy some fresh bait next time! Feel free to scroll to the good bits towards the end of the video 🐟. All the Best

Working alone on a boat with no life jacket???? Do you have your big red nose and makeup in the cabin?
Yes indeed
I gave up watching after 12 mins all that time filming catching your bait?

Wait what happened to the fish being mailed thru the gills?
@@mialily206 the bass went back. A little blood but swam off fine. A small Nick in the gills won’t kill them
@@Wahoo149Fishing Yes it will.
