    I agree with everything you said, as usual. :) I feel like "watchable" pretty much sums this film up in one word. Aesthetically, it was stunning, but story-wise I don't know if they gave Taika too much free rein to just be weird? The amount of effort and labor and money and hours that went into producing this film to just throw things up against the wall and see what sticks, is kind of stunning in its own way. I also agree about the Christian Bale character, there was a lot more to explore than Gorr the God Butcher just haphazardly "earning" the Necrosword. I don't know how this occurred in the comics, but Christian Bale's performance deserved more than a one-dimensional origin story. My review is "meh," which I think translates into C+.
