Yes Papaji, we love you. Adults are still just little boys, little girls, little children as we all come home to sit at the grandfather's feet. Fear of Death Evaporates. Words cannot describe what samadhi is. Yogananda wrote a poem about Samadhi and Bliss. I had my doubts for a long time, but now I know God really IS that Good to Us. In my 28 years experience with the dying, the advice above would not have been appropriate. If anyone can sniff a BS line given by a "professional" it is a dying patient. If they lived a full and fearless life, it didn't mean they were ready to throw in the towel. Some had, contributed to the world, loving and loved by their families and friends living beautifully and intensely. They wanted to continue living in pain and suffering because of doctor's promises and it beat the alternative---their dead body. Papaji and Maharshi offer freedom here right now, and when a Being reaches that level, consciousness isn't troubled with a transition like the body dying. Maharshi and Papaji lived and died in the "I Am" Sucking the marrow out of the bones of life...doesn't allow most to fear death any less. Dying with no regrets doesn't mean you are ready to put your oars in the water and cross the river. What the great Masters know is the great Comforter and the "Peace That Passes Understanding" everything is alright and will be alright. We are all One. Sit with a dying patient and don't speak.
