And I know if mine goes out I won’t get it back on for at least a day or two bc they are already sending their emergency crews to the mountains where it’s gonna be the worst 🤬
@@TayKinGaming yep we joke that if a squirrel farts to close to the pier lines our power goes out. With Florence we were out for 3 weeks and Matthew was 2 weeks. And the mountain area geesh, my oldest daughter lives in Kings Mountain and no one is preparing up there because she said all the media there as of last night kept saying that it’s just going to be breezy but that’s it’s. But our media says differently so they are prepping. But she’s warning folks and they’re like “Wait what??!!”
Pray for everyone there.
2024 Helene 20 years apart Hurricane Alberto (1994): Initially predicted to move northward, Alberto instead turned westward and made landfall in the western Florida Panhandle
on July 4.
•Hurricane Ivan (2004): Although not directly mentioned in the search results, Ivan's track shows it deviated westward after making landfall in Alabama, affecting the Panhandle region before moving into the Gulf of Mexico.
I already evacuated. I'm in Atlanta. Raining 🐈 and 🐕🦺
You were smart to get out early. I don't know why so many people wait until the last minute and then have to fight their way through traffic jams. Or those that choose to stay.
@@janp7660they wait because one day they say one thing and the next day another, then a few hours later it changes paths. There is a lot of uncertainty with hurricanes. I’m new to living in hurricane prone areas and it’s a lot different than all the tornadoes my previous home state had. I thought like you until I moved to Florida. I understand now.
@@kermitandmisspiggyb Guess that makes sense. We're hoping to move down after we retire if we can find something affordable.
I know it's not a contest, but you should also check out the model forecasts for this weekend for the area between Taiwan and Japan.
I'm starting to think it won't make it to cat 4, because of the dry air in its initial rapid intensafacation.
Ocean water temp a HUGE element.
What if it slows down in the hot gulf?😢😢😢
@@denisemartin3603 it could still go crazy it's not impossible
@@LilyWillow22 if it overcomes the dry air it could go crazy
@@denisemartin3603it’s not gonna slow down to intensify, we know that for 100% certainty. That’s like the ONE thing we can predict without fail bc the factors that drive a hurricane are so big we know almost down to the mph how fast it will truck along.
