How I love this Liesl! Especially love how the stamen revealed itself. 😊 This does look fun and unique! I have used the Saran Wrap technique with mountains and it was amazing how they turned out. The background colors are beautiful for this silhouette style. Also love the splatters! This looks like such a relaxing piece giving you the opportunity to just play and not worry how it comes out! I really loved this one, Liesl. I'm a big fan of the dark silhouette paintings and, whilst I've seen the wrap technique used for rocks on landscapes, I've never tried it so this is certainly one for me to have a go at. In order to see the drawing you could have a duplicate on regular paper to show. Congratulations on Getting new brushes samples. Very exciting. A butterfly could be added in the upper left or on flower.
I love your ideas! It’s a good idea to just have the drawing darker on a separate paper, I will definitely do that next time! I also think adding a butterfly would be way fun too!
