Wonderful but can’t follow as so much happening off screen - are you removing paint, touching to paper towel , damping brush to remove water and then clean out some pigment on petals. Would love for the camera to have shown all that off camera activity. ❤
@@gailgray6600 Look, I'll explain. Everything is very simple here. The towel is located close to me. This makes it easier for me to remove excess liquid from the brush. Second point: I use a completely clean brush moistened with water when I draw the petal and make the first stretch. The sequence is as follows: you applied the pigment with a small brush, and then stretched it with a larger brush, washed with water without paint

hello, my friend. Watercolor is wonderful. She's so different. It can be difficult, but you can divide its drawing stages and not draw for a long time, and then it brings peace. The main thing is not to turn the process into a routine.

Hi Lola. Could you please tell me which one of the Clairfontaine watercolor papers do you use? I looks like a very good quality paper but the Clairpontaine range of watercolor papers is huge. It has the all cotton ones, the non cotton ones, five different types of surfaces etc. Which one do you use in this video?
Hi, this is the most ordinary block of cellulose) Clairefontaine Goldline Aquapad Glued Pad - 70 Sheets Papel Aquarelle Blanc Grain Fin A5 14.8x21 cm, 300 g
@@creativecolours2022 you know, if you take cotton, it will be even cooler. In general, I adore cotton of the same company. The thing is that I still can't buy myself arches, many say that it is excellent paper
@@Lolaaquarella Arches IMHO is overhyped and overpriced. I've never liked Arches paper and I never used it. The 100% cotton papers that I personally prefer is Saunders Waterford, Strathmore Imperial ( that unfortunately is hard to find in Europe), the Fluid ones and some of the Fabrianos. Clairfontaine has some decent papers too but their range is huge and they don't offer sample packs and that is the reason why I can't have opinion about the whole range, because I can't afford to buy one pad from each and every one of their papers just for testing purposes. That is the reason why I'm asking information here and there wherever I see something that seems to work because the companies don't seem understand that paper is a very personal thing. In any case, I don't consider Arches the best of papers. I have high expectations from my papers as I paint portraits and botanicals and I prefer HP and vellum like ( mixed media, very smooth cold press in other words) surfaces. This though looks promising and if it is affordable I'll give it a try. Thank you for the information. :)

I don't mix them. First you take the main color neples yellow redish, Nickel azo yellow is additional and you add it at the very end or wherever you want like me in the middle and that’s it. There are only 2 colors. Just wash your brush every time so that it is clean and it is with a clean brush that you paint the petal and spread a drop of the applied paint.
