Looks really good. What did you use to adhere the shingle?

Thanks! I usually do a small line of hot glue on the very top edge to hold it while i'm making it, then exterior construction loctite so it actually stays.

Good tips. Say, have ya tried those notchers on thin wood?

Depends on the wood. I use it on a veneer strip I rip on the table saw sometimes, but harder woods the punch doesn't work on. What kind of wood you using?
