Beautiful, stunning performance
Time and again, I've marvelled about Superwoman. The possibility of such a beautiful song getting written by a human being during my lifetime ... Then here's Rachel giving my ears and mind some new chordal dimensions ... she's obviously singing this in her head cos I never heard a missed passage the whole time ... The feel for the piece is so total ... so devastatingly beautiful ... I'm stunned into pieces ...... wow ... just sighingly w o w.
Your comment is everything that I also feel about this incredibly written , emotionally and sensitive song one his best and my favorite
It’s a 🇺🇸🖼🎼🎵🎹🎤 Storied Vignette 🙏Timeless 🎹🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵
🇺🇸🖼🎼🎵. Stevie Wonders most personal painting 🖼 of the power of love truly an Aria of poetic Bellezza. Rachel Flowers just repainted that magic how glorious you are. .28 lead singer EARONS NYC Band ❤ timeless
Truly superlative. If Stevie heard this, Rachel would have a record contract offered to her tomorrow. That smile at the end is priceless!
My favorite Stevie song. As he sings...this arrangement is done "VERY WELL"
Rachel must have one hell of a memory to be able to learn so many songs from hearing them with no music to read. Truly a great talent!
Incredibly accurate with Stevie's chords correct and even some of his vocal inflections including. Great work and an inspiring rendition! What an ear you have! Bless you!
Can't stop listening to this!
Something near to absolute perfection!
Her smile while she is playing "Where Were You When I Needed You" is amazing
That smile right at the end is inspiring...
Oh, she is simply "Keyboardtastic"...Jeanie, you have to be so proud of her! She phrases so very well.
This is why You Tube needs to add a "love" selection..."like" just doesn't capture how beautiful this is. It is my hope that Stevie will somehow hear this and then invite Rachel to join him for a rendition. What a wonderful duet that would be....this is much appreciated. Time to watch again!
Rachel
I have been listening to Stevie Wonder for over 40 years and this is truly a beautiful rendition of Superwoman. Every note is a struggle and played from the heart.
Hi, Jeanie, it's Matthew Saracho again. Pardon me for commenting so much on these videos, but, I'll be very honest with you.
I've had plenty of friends, and a few girlfriends who simply didn't want to get out of my life for whatever the reasons. But Rachel, in case you don't know, has really caught my attention and changed every bit of my life these past few days. Today, out of all the friends I have, I now rank her No. 1 because of both our talents and abilities people have seen separately.
This is OUTSTANDING!!!! Wow. Is there a way to give a standing ovation on TH-cam?
Brandi L. Bates . . What a lovely thing to say Brandi. . . You have a good heart X
As someone who writes original music and is deeply inspired by stevie wonder and by this song in particular, I think I found another musician that inspires me too. Rachel this was absolutely incredible. I hummed the song in my head the whole time and you were perfectly with every note every beat and the fact that you played this off memory is even more amazing. Keep inspiring me and others, your work is unbelievable!
Rachel, you are the Superwoman that SW envisioned ❤
Ive never heard anybody play this song as good as her, except Stevie Wonder himself! Heck, I've been watching this video at least 3 years and she taught ME how to play it!!!!!! #awesome
I need 1% of your talent to be happy !

Beautiful how you blend technical precision while projecting emotional and soulful musical ideas. I love it.
Now thats an advanced and comment. Need to remember that line to go get a l compliment to a musician
HELL YES!!!! ABSOLUTELY RACHEL FLOWERS!!!
I can see where Rachel gets her spirit from. You are a living, breathing example of compassion, grace and tolerance. Cheers!
She has a lovely touch on the ivories, and i have had the fortune to see other greats like Oscar Peterson, Matty Ross and Keith Emerson live on stage.
Omg so much color and feel when you play Rachel. I have been coming to this vid for years
OMG!!!!! this is my favorite Stevie songs by far she is one of the best to do it!!!!! #genius
Beautiful...gorgeous arrangement. Improvisation is right on. Amazing talent.
What I really want to see/hear is Rachel and Chris Thile. I think they would blow each other's minds.
I am just so glad that I clicked on that video of her playing Tarkus yesterday! She's simply amazing
You captured one of my favorite songs with such dexterity and style. I can sit back and taste every nuance you incorperated in it like it's a recipe or a dish only a musical chef like you can create. Wonderful. And the portion of what Rachel began at 6:23 slowly became what we call in the church 'shout material'. Truly a virtuoso rendition of a song that still reverberates melodically today.
Wow,from the very first key,i knew it would be great, but it was wonderful.Thank you so much for that performance.God bless.
So, hear I am sitting in front of a midi keyboard trying to teach myself how to play piano because of this rendition of one of my favorite songs by Stevie Wonder. I'm autistic, so I'd drive any instructor to madness, but I intend to give it my most gallant effort. I am a musician by training, I could not continue because of what I know now was the stress caused when performing with a group of people while trying to act 'normal'. Beautiful work, Madame. I'll be looking into more of your work also. You have a new fan.
C.W. Badie
Bravo!!
Blown Away! Started not to click, but was curious enuf to do so.....this girl is talented!!!
Wonder-full performance by a Super-girl. Enchanting and sublime.
Fantastic! Amazing! God be with you , Rachel. You are a God's gift to all of us. Keep playingl!!
Beautiful song choice! Beautiful playing!
This is the second piece ive heard, by far, a Stevie Wonder song played so flawlessly
I love this song. I have since I was a kid. I'm glad I wasn't in the room hearing this as it was being recorded. I probably would have started crying.
This been my favorite song since I was 13 year old. I never heard nobody place this piano solo of superwoman before. Until this day I listen to this song . Ms. Rachel you did a great job on this one and god bless you with your talent 🙏🏽♥️
This song and rainbow in the sky are probably the most beautiful songs ever played. Can bring tears to one's eyes xx
Best thing I've heard all week
This brought tears to my eyes … absolutely outstanding
Not just the best musician on the planet. But also the best hair. Can I have some?!
Excellent!!! You have mo idea how much joy this brings even now in this day and age. Thank you Miss Lady❤

BEAUTIFUL
Bravo. Rachel,🔦😘🙏
how could anyone in there right mind thumbs down this. She Killed everything and put a bit of her into it. Great Job!
beautiful babie. as you were playing i listened for every nuance that is in the original and you nailed evey single rest and every single note and not to mention the little inflection that stevie had whe he sung it. The transition from the first part of the song to the second was...no words. i'm inspired. GOD BLESS YOU. You did the song justice which is the least I can say right now.
I'm about 10 years late but this is a Dope Listen! Thank for sharing! Where is Rachel Flowers when I need her???
So nice to listen to this again.
Wow😱👏👏brilliant, from my fave Stevie album, she’s so talented
This was a truly beautiful performance. This is the best piano cover of the song that I heard, Other people just play the second half of the song, but she played the whole thing! Absolutely sublime!
magically beautiful!!!! I can listen to her over and over again.
I've been totally amazed at watching and listening to many of your newer videos. So I decided to back to your first ones. I am still astounded at your musical abilities. But maybe even as amazing, is how effortlessly you play. For example, when I or other people play a difficult passage on piano, our faces usually get very serious looking. But not you. You actually grow an even bigger smile, and just seem to get lost in all the complexity. Hmm, maybe "lost"is not the right word, since you are in a world of music I can barely relate to. You seem to know exactly where you are going in your playing. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world!
She is a Superwoman!
That was a thing of beauty. Thanks Rachel.
Jeanie, she is so very wonderful...and I cry whenever I hear her play this!
That s the most awesome thing I've witness in 2010! Maybe ever, but I'll reserve that statement for now. Bravo!
Rachel is picking up where Lyle left off. Such grace and sophistication.
That’s fantastic Rachel ! 👍
Stevie's my favorite, and these are two of my favorites of his songs, and Rachel would make Stevie proud! Wow! Thanks, Rachel. May the world come to know your talent and your soulful approach to such great tunes.
I'm a huge Stevie fan.great job.
I wish I could buy this version of this song on iTunes. Great work Rachel; you are so gifted. Thanks for your music; it is a blessing to all of us.
One of my favorite Stevie Wonder songs. Stevie was playing all the instruments on this record, which was very new at the time. I think you've done a fantastic job in the same regard on the piano.
Asolutely magnificent.
if i could like this twice i would
I am so happy for you. Music is joy to you and your gift! I am thankful to have found your video posts. Take care.
Gorgeous.
very nice. i wandered here from listening to a cover of a new favorite, gretchen palato, to hear a nice version of an old favorite, stevie wonder.
Truly numinous, beautiful and above all FLAWLESS. I respect your prowess and dedication to your craft. So awesome!
Rachel, You lift my spirit.
... one of the most beautiful songs ever made in this lifetime. Thank you Ms. Rachel Flowers!!!♥️👍🏾
I have watched a number of Rachel's videos and just had to say thank you for such wonderful entertainment. I nearly jumped out of my chair when I saw she had done one of Stevie's very best tunes. And, of course, she is magnificent.
Dear Rachel, only discovered this from listening to the original tonight and cannot thank you enough for being simply pure magical in this rendition. I so agree with much of what has been said here but like to add 'I did not think anyone could add a new dimension to Stevie Wonder's songs, but you have. I have just listened to 10 minutes of pure classic with your interpretation and playing style of one of my personal favourite Stevie's song. Thank you, Thank you.
