What happened to your voice since last year?
@@emilyworkman so basically I trained myself to song whistle notes, and after learning to do so I kept abusing them to the point where I wouldn't even do vocal warm-ups before doing it. Eventually it strained my voice and I could not belt, whistle or even hold a low note for 4 secs. I recovered 80% so far, I can belt, hold a note for 6-10secs but my whistles are really weak
Yikes! Sounds like you have some swelling going on. Have you had a doctor/ENT take a look at your chords?

I used to think that I can sing.
But then i tried karaoke on a singing app and I found out that i sucked at singing. I really wanna cry right now because I think singing js the only thing I'm good at. Or at least I thought I was good at. I can't cry because it will build mucus in my throat and ruin my voice even more.
edit:currently cringing from my past self. And my singing still sucks but i dont care . I'll keep singing because it makes me happy.
never give up. no good singer started with a perfect voice. keep practicing and you'll definitely see results. i'm sure u got that talent
Try slowly or lightly singing the music and then get little more stronger and clearer every time you just have to keep going up and up lol and don't forget to match the beat try getting a metronome or taking lessons online

guysss i love Shakira and ive watched videos of her when she was younger and her voice wasn't as good as now it was unstable and i think she went to a teacher to improve her voice and now she sings so well i think every kpop idol train their voices a lot with teachers before they debut too

That is not an accurate reason for that. The main reason that could happen is your vocal cords are too separate from each other... You should see a doctor in case you need to take precausions
