- I finally got my hands on the best special edition that Dodge made for 2023. This is the 2023 Dodge Charger Superbee Widebody Scatpack. It is a perfect mix between a Super Stock Challenger and a 1320 Scatpack. It's the only factory charger to have 18" drag wheels and a drag inspired suspension. I also give you my thoughts on how it drives. This is my favorite Scatpack of all time. Which is your favorite?

Would’ve been nice if Dodge had bumped up the HP and TQ numbers for the super bee edition, kinda like they did with the hellcat. You have the stock hellcat that puts out 707hp then the red eye which is like 797hp then the demon with over 800hp. Kinda boring the super bee is just the same old 480 horse 6.4 with extra goodies. Not impressed
Agreed but they should have gotten the 392 to 500HP years ago.. it's been 485/475 forever now.

The SUPERBEE is the bomb! I love both the blue narrow body and the widebody purple one. I wish they offered the blue one in a widebody too. The demon wheels look amazing on that car.

If I had the money this would be the only last call charger I would get, I feel like is the most unique and is the one that looks mostly fully loaded, besides the demon 170 this will be a really rare super bee charger

@@MidwestBoss448 I’m basically saying what I think is the best looking last call, this model for example is the most unique looking with the demon wheels and the package in general it comes with, yes the the ghost and most of them last call line are unique in their own way, but I think the super bee and the demon 170 are the ones that actually look unique, maybe the wheels are the only thing that makes the super bee unique

your doing tricks on it, it's literally the same charger as always with just different tires and badges.
That was the only special edition I liked besides the Demon 170. But for 70k you can get a narrow body Hell cat which has 232 more horse power and you know X there is no substitute for ponies.
Idk where you from but where I’m at for 70K you can get a 17-20 Widebody hellcat
This a regular Hell Cat not a wide body. All the wide body models are marked 10 to 15 k. The only deals on 2023s are regulars I see them marked down 5 and 6k. @@Username27288

Was just at my dealership for oil change. Thwy have a Super Bee for $94k. The msrp is $64k.

@@Veritas1992 Had a Challenger with a 6 spd, it was fkn awful lol. Im talking noticable difference between that and my ZF auto charger. 1st gear the car couldnt get out of its own way sometimes - Idk wtf that transmission was. Once it got moving it was fine but damn that was the wrong transmission for the 6.4. Maybe mine was a dud but that car always felt down on power.
@@xClyptox Were you on the stock tires? If it was on 245s I could understand it being squirrelly. It should have at least 275s from the factory on the 6.4.

I just bought a 50th anniversary challenger scat pack in smoke show but my plague doesn’t have a number? Is that normal lol new to mopar here and bought my car based on your videos I’m in love with it I can’t stop driving it but it’s weird how mine doesn’t have a number but it’s decked out even with the suede headliner option it’s sick!!
So if the tires are the big game changer why not just add them to a regular scat pack? Idk I just feel like all of these last call vehicles could’ve gotten an updated body. They all look the damn same and you can’t distinguish any difference at all

totally different hood then the regular scat pack,, reg does not have drag mode or same suspenison has the 1320never superbee faster car

I think all the special editions are cool but like you said they’re all basically graphic packages that the dealerships are going to charge through the nose for. What I think would’ve been cool that would’ve really set these scatpack special editions apart would be if Dodge threw some forged internals from the factory so owners can throw more than a few lbs of boost at it without puking it’s guts out. Ford did it with the 2012/2013 Boss 302 just saying 🤷🏼♂️

Dodge has done a lot with its 4 door muscle car! So sad it's going away. Those wheels on that Super Bee look great, and mean business! Another thing that would have been great would be if Dodge offered the Tremec 6 speed in all the Charger Scat Packs.
Wish they'd done this same treatment and color etc with a Challenger instead of the Charger. Still cool though.
Would have been really cool if they gave the super bee the trans brake just to make it feel a little more special than just some graphics.

Beautiful car but buyers need to understand that those drag radials won't last past 10,000 miles. And they're not cheap. I would replace them with a street tire and save the drag radials for the strip.
Interesting. Too bad its too little too late. I have a 21 1320 and it is a nice car, but getting it to stick from a dig on the street is almost impossible. It took me like 20 tries to get it down to a 4.0 second 0-60. They should have gave the Challenger 1320 these wheels or at least made it an option. The Charger looks decent, but obviously not a 2 door. Kind of weird they only offer this trim in this one color with this tire setup too.
Definitely my favorite of the last calls. It would definitely buy this one, if I purchased last call. I did find one locally but it was 50k over sticker.
It'll be about 20 years before that car goes up 50,000 that's a long time to wait to get your money back you're basically losing it up front they make The 50.000 profit not you you will wait just to get that money back but I'm pretty sure you figured that that's why you didn't buy it

Dodge should have given the King Daytona the drag mode suspension and drag wheels. It was named after a drag racer and somehow they missed the mark and gave it non drag options.
Wow, had no idea they were doing this with the Charger! Few things I like over my 1320 is the flat bottom steering wheel, bee logo on the seats, wide body and the 18" wheels with wider wheels. Wtf Dodge? Should have had those wheels on the 1320. Too bad its a four door and most likely too pricey. No idea the sticker, but would possibly consider trading my 1320 if it was like high 40's max with 0% int which I'm sure its not.
Lol optioned RTs are well into the 40s now. Prices are insane.
Just a few observations. Dodge could have added 30 more horsepower , 20 in torque, and have a drag setting. Customers could quickly distinguish the difference between the bee and a 392 other than the tire size. Dealers distinguish the difference in markups.
Hell, any increase in power and torque would have made this more worth it

@RacerX, given there’s no drag setting, I have yet to see any hard evidence that this is not just sticker package car with wheels/tires. As you know, the 1320 has different suspension (which requires specific ‘drag mode’ settings), a trans-brake, & a higher stall torque-converter. I bet this has none of those, & I bet none are listed on any build sheet or window sticker either. I hope I’m wrong!, but I’m objectively confident I’m not 😕 Dig for me brother! Thanks 🤞
you are wrong on some stuff it has drag mode and a1320 suspenison and better wheels and tires then the 1320

..iit does not have the trans brake but again it has drag mode and the special suspenison..it tells you in the manual how to get to drag mode...i got this car about a week ago and when it is in drag mode it squats and flys off the line .i have tried the 0 to 60 3 times and my best so far is a 3.8 and there is not a lot out there on this car but i have seen a couple of other owners who have said the same thing

I was at my local ford dealer yesterday and across the street at Dodge they have plum crazy super bee in the show room I’m sure there was a huge mark up also there lot full Of Every variation of charger ,challengers Jailbreaks plus 15 hellcat 🤦🏻

Absolutely sweet car but in this day and age all one can do is look..... prices are to high and interest rates are disgusting.... and with the way the world is going with being on the brink of world war 3 and the economy tanking and the housing market about to collapse......you don't know if you will have a job to pay for it.., but it is a absolutely beautiful car for sure👌👍✌️
