He's an awesome character
Cool toy
Great review. Super7 and RamenToys pulling at my nostalgia strings with some Silverhawks...I got Quicksilver and Mon*Star at Northgate ToysRUs when I was 6-7, and my brother got Bluegrass and Buzz-Saw. Quicksilver kinda became ShadowWing Batman’s sidekick after a while. Love the use of the magnets on this guy. Can’t wait to see Super7’s take on all these characters. Thanks again & ☮️
Thanks man! Yeah this is hitting me right in the nostalgia... And man do I miss that Northgate TRU! The ONLY place I ever saw Tigersharks at.
The last silver hawk was a good comic book
Great review! Love Silverhawks!!! I just picked up that Thundercats toy book too! So cool! Odd question, on your TN for this video, what is the font you used for the "QUICKSILVER WITH TALLY-HAWK"? It is like the one used on the old cardback from the 80's line!
Thank you for the review.
Since this is a reimagined design, we envisioned him to be taller so even though he is 1/12 scale, he measures almost 7 inch, but he is not mean to be a “7 inch scale” , if you get what we mean.
Woah! Thanks for the reply guys! LOVE this figure! I can't wait for my Mon-star to ship out so I can check him out too!
Who is his 30th anniversary
I almost thought this figure would be a nice alternative to the Super7 version, but at $90? Noooooooooooo thank you.
Yeah that price tag does sting a bit. I think the key for buying Ramen stuff is to get in on the "early bird discount" (which is about 30% off). Full retail is in the range of Mafex & Figuarts (likely due to that smaller production run).... and while the Ramen stuff is really nice, it isn't quite at that quality level yet.
They look better than super7 regardless of price
It is definitely a situation where each will have a unique audience I think. If you are looking for a cartoon interpretation- Super7 fits the bill. But if you want a more realistic take, Ramen wins it.
@@SawyerFamilyReviews I think the chorme look wins out reminds of the old vintage figures.
