Bru yesterday I was on Multiplayer for Anonmly Flaming Espinas and that nuke he did killed two players out of 4. I was one of them, I tried to go out the zone cause that’s basically how you avoid it but then I ran into a wall. RIP.
Is it that bad? I usually fill up or at least get close for a lot of difficult monsters lmaoooo maybe I'm just noob but getting one shot is just never fun imo
I remember the time I got evicted by a guy using the hammer of a ancient beast while glowing and his cat stabbing me...good old memories! Also great video of course!

USE THE KUNAI. If you don't have any slicing damage, you can still focus with your weapon on the tail and use your judgment to throw a Kunai at it when you think you have done plenty of damage to the tail. The tail will stay at 1 hp until the last damage is dealt by slicing damage, Since the Kunai deals slicing damage you can just toss one at it

I went through the game and sunbeam with 5 quest failures and 4 of them are to espinas this creature is now officially my least favourite monster

Just check the Sunbreak meta reddit thread. It should be a mixed set chammy hammer. The qurio augments are a pain to get though, at least for me.

I got a mantle from my first hunt with flaming espinas but when I need a normal horn or wing I never get it
