As someone who lives near these guys, yes they’re cute, once you get over the rank smell. Get too close it’ll sting the nostrils, It’s that bad!

They're really a very sweet species of bat. I watch a channel with a woman who rescues them after accidents. Mrs Batzilla. Mostly it's the orphaned babies who she gets in. They're just like flying fruit eating puppies. I'm glad most of these river-dipping guys survived. 💖
Another great youtube channel about rescuing flying foxes is Megabattie. I higly recommend it.
