I bought Encre Noir Sport and I'm enjoying it. Remarkably the only three scents I've gotten compliments on this year have been Creed Aventus, Bond 9 Cooper Square, and Lalique ENS. It's a strange beast to my nose, fresh and full of energy but dark. I detect several notes in the composition from the initial dry down all at the same time. They settle in but don't evolve or shift. It's like a sustained chord. Longevity and projection are both pretty amazing.
Love this...I even get a powdery vibe in the dry down that for the first week after I'd bought it I wasn't getting..just goes to prove how complex this perfume really is..can't believe i bagged this for under £30..
just got sport. Wanted to try one of the encre noirs, and based on reviews it sounded more versatile. Loving it so far. sprayed it on my arm and couldn't stop sniffing it. But i haven't spent much time with it, just got it tonight.
Yeah marc i just got it. Love at first sniff. But i really fell in love with it last night when the iris began to come through. Very good recomendation if you are in to vetiver fragrances. Beautiful

Excellent review. I’m thinking of layering this with a lighter fruity floral fragrance (Kajal Lamar) to give it a little heft. Encre Noir A ‘La Extreme might be the perfect complement! We’ll see.
I was checking this out at work. And couldn't find any information about this cologne. Now it's 6:00 am in Texas and boom here you are great review you sold me with expressions alone. I knew it was nice when you sprayed on more. Lol as always be blessed

I have it. I also have the EDT & EDP, The Royal Night is a spicy, extreme, loud, long lasting, dark, brother to the eau de parfum. Buy it, don't procastinate. It is an amazing cologne. I bought all 3 within 2 weeks, the Royal Night is the best one out of the three.

Reminds me of Tom Ford Noir Anthracite. Grassy, woody, resinous, slightly oud-y. It’s like Tom Ford Noir Anthracite, TF Black Orchid, and MFK Oud Extrait had a baby.

Robes, you have to jump on Encre Noire sport; its simply amazing. I got a decant of extreme. It's ok but echoes Jean Paul DuPont Oud noir. I do love the bottle though, just not worth a buy imo.

The original is one of my fav frags but, I didn't like either the sport or this latest version. Maybe i'll change my mind about A l'extreme once the weather cooks down a bit so, I'll give it another try in a few months.
@your dad Yeah most YT reviews are first impressions. We do get some dry-down spiel over a few minutes of a vid. Fragrances won't alter that much over 30 mins to an hour as Alain suggests anyway, most of the scent is releasing after dry-down of 10 minutes at maximum impact and cools off after that to the lower order of notes that don't project that well anyway. Again personal Ph skin levels determine aromas on you as each person is different. Overall this review tells us the basics of what we want to know, so yeah I'm chill-easy with it. 🐵💨😜💨✨

This Robes was supercrazy (in a good way) back in 2016. I believe he´s now more toned-down.Age wise? Anyway, i love his reviews and coolness.

It's like the original Encre Noire, but more fuller, with woods, some floral, spices, sort of an oudy feel to it.

The original is one of my fav frags but, I didn't like either the sport or this latest version.
Maybe i'll change my mind about A l'extreme once the weather cooks down a bit so, I'll give it another try in a few months.
