Hi there loved your video, I saw you added 20 grams of fragrance oli and I'm not sure but it seems like a lot.. this is my formula for my 7 oz glass jar 166 ÷109% =152g wax
166 - 152 = 14g FO. Is this correct and I use 70% parafin 30%soy
This will vary on the types of waxes used. Some waxes hold more fragrance than others. In addition this too will vary on the types of FO used, as some are more dense than others. Hope this helps! xo
These are beautiful! I was curious if you think the eco 2 will work on 4 oz tins ?
I have soy 10 also 🤩
I would always advise to test, only because i've never worked with 4oz. tins, however, if it were me, I would start with testing an Eco 1. Best, and please let me know how it works for you! xo
Hi, Love this! Your formula what are you using 10% percent FO? I’m trying to understand the math you posted
So the fragrance oil percentage depends one the fragrance oil density, some oils are higher in density than others, I chose 10% for this specific formula, however after previously conducting second testing of this particular candle, which is the one shown in the video, I found that I can comfortably reduce the amount of oil that I previously used, which was the 10% of the Creme de Mamao + Cassis, (which in sense translates to Papaya+ Whipped Cream). This oil is pretty strong., so reducing it to 8% will still give me great results. Hope this helps!
Which temperature is the best for candle before adding a Fo
This will depend on the type of wax you are using. Which wax are you working with?
Am using golden wax 464
Ok, so 464 has a max fragrance load of 10% or 1.6oz. Per pound, according to the manufacturer it is best to add your fragrance while your wax is still hot preferably in the 185 range. For the best results, allow your candles to cure for 2 weeks.💕
