With the R34 pretty much sorted I needed another money pit...uh...I mean project to keep me busy.
I went back to my routes and purchased another Micra K11, this time a second facelift 1.0L model.
Amazing
I recently driven a k11 Micra at a auto solo it was surprisingly fun it handles really well and felt quick though moving off was a bit different to what I was expecting as I'm use to my corsa. But old cars are a bit different

I must have been one of the first to mod this car back in 2000. So I lower the car with new wheels 🛞 Black the back lights, mod the main head lights with a black and clear click on light masks. Jam speed back box, K&N with the air box taking out. A air induct steel pipe coming from the front grill to the K&N with a small air induct over the K&N with 6 air hold. Metallic blue paint. The car was only 5 years old. It was a 1lt Nissan Micra, but with all I did top speed was 102mph maximum with a 0-60 a sad 12.5 seconds, knowing that your main speed was in 3rd gear. Your car looks amazing, well done. You need to take out the air box and do with I did and the difference is amazing. I am 60 now but still love mod cars when they are done right.
I no longer own the car. The K11 was introduced around 1993 so there would have been a few people modifying them back then

Fr: 30mm daewoo matiz springs (rear), K11 shock
RR: 30mm K11 lowering spring 're-engineered', Corsa B shock

After painting the engine/bay, did you clear either of em? Or just used hard wearing paint?
Its a 'tough' paint, I left it as it was

Its a 1.4 from a coil pack model Micra K11, engine code is CGA3DE.
You'll need to find a Micra K11 2000-2002 being broken for parts to get it

Hi my grandson races in a junior race series and uses the k11, just bought another k11 to build its a pre facelift in red. All the parts to do a facelift to pre facelift are perfect bonnet, wings lights bumper ect and are not needed so going put them up for sale, any idea what price I should ask for them? Thanks
Probably £120-150 at a guess. I paid £100 for mine
What spec are the wheels .
The Rota Slipstreams were 15x6.5j ET35
What oem wheels can you recommend..bmw ? Renault?
The BMW bottletops were 14" from memory. The centre bore was smaller so you can either have them machined bigger or use a small spacer (like I did)

@@hoodedreeper lol. How much did u cut off? It seemed to me that it was too low with 35mm. Im planning to lower it by 35 as well, and yours looks perfect, does it scrubs and how many inches and tire size u got?
@@davekrave2 2 coils cut off. The rear springs were k11 35mm but the fronts were daewoo matiz
