I was an unbeliever and met a guy who is a Christian. We've been 6 years in a relationship and he lead me to know Jesus. We got married last 2022 and this was our Wedding song. I was homeless and then started sleeping on a family member couch. I was in ministry I usually came home late on weekends. Family member became upset why. I explained but to no avail. I was asked to leave, sleeping in the church and one night the Lord spoke out clearly, "I will settle you" I got a roommate and today 3yrs later I own a home, a very decent one. His promises are yes and amen

I'm the only Christian in my family. My people have been deeply hurt by residential schools in Canada. Unfortunately this hurt and fear continues to this day. Passionate preaching is also very frightening to them. This has made a huge barrier for my people to start to trust God. This is a great song to help them FEEL God's Love and maybe help them to begin to trust Him! I hope I can have the courage to sing it for them at family gatherings. Thank you!

You see the problem is that last word, Jesus, is not mentioned in the end. You and I know that he's talking about him, but an ordinary atheist doesn't. They think it's some sort of love song or something. This fact transforms this very well sounded song into a contemporary Christian song, instead of being a worship song.

We are called to spread the good news of the kingdom, and teach people about Christ and heaven; however, God himself will not go and do it for us. It is his will for all to be saved and enter heaven, but few will enter. Why? Because he knows very few people will actually do what they are called to do, and that is to actually serve God and spread the Gospel of truth and good news of the kingdom to his children; therefore, your prayer definitely is good in the heart, but is ultimately useless unless you will do what he is calling you to do, and that is to live exactly how Jesus did, and personally bring people into the kingdom of God yourself. When you do this; the Lord will be more than happy to help to succeed, and you will even find yourself prosper beyond and level of your imagination. I can strongly back everything I just said by the word of God, and can personally promise you a better life because of it. Because the bible tells us so. God bless you
Skietblomke Your right that we cant personally save anyone, but he does give us multiple scripture based commands to go open everyone's eyes to the truth. Meaning he is calling us to plant a seed in the heart of his children. Others are called to water a seed that has already been sown. Only God can harvest. So he is calling us to do "his work" just like Jesus did. As for living like Jesus. I'm not sure where you got we can not live like he did to be honest. Peter tells us to "live Holy" Paul says we are Ambassadors for Christ. We are also called to be mimickers of Christ (walk exactly how he did; Heal, preach, etc.) Christ told us to go to all the towns of the world and spread his good news of the kingdom of Heaven. Revelations is prophetic. When God says he is the final word. Too many people take that way out of context and even get the idea that we are born and chosen to go to heaven and hell at birth. That's honestly a sick statement and goes against the entire bible old and new. So it clearly does not mean that. Because God can not contradict himself. It's impossible. So its saying that at the end many should follow him will deny him. So saved or not if you deny him he says he will deny you. Ultimately meaning he is the final word

Whitestripes technically, in the old testament was when you really needed to work to not only be made right with God but to please him as well. we dont need to "give it our all".... just simply taking the time to say the name "jesus" in praise of him, is pleasing to him.
now personally, per say, i love to sing, i blurt out whatever comes to my mind, when it comes to whether a verse comes to mind, or one of his names come to mind, or just singing thank you lord, or praise you jesus, or i love you lord. i personally, LOVE to sing "i love you my king" yes its nice that people get creative with their lyrics, but he doesnt ask us for that, king david was constantly singing praises to the lord, and none of his words rhymed and sometimes it didnt even make sense to us, but it makes sense to God.
