I think you're allowed to go to other salons and shop around. It's the amount of time she took up in her initial appointment or that she expected another appointment there and then and then made the stay after closing.

Really hope they gave the consultants a big tip for letting her shop past closing time. Really patient these consultants. I think Randy had the nicest view on her. In that, he doesn't think she's being intentionally malicious. Just oblivious to everyone else's needs around her. It's obviously her wedding deess and it's important. But it cannot trump the fact that her family was exhausted from all the looking they did all day. A lot of people would call her a brat. I would say inconsiderate is the word I'd use. If I did that and I was thinking of that dress. I would've gone back and said 'hey, I know it's half an hour to closing time and I'm really sorry but I really couldn't keep that dress out of my head. I live in Southern California and many of my friends have taken their daughters to NYC to shop for their wedding dresses. They have done EXACTLY what Nicole did and book appointments at a number of different salons. Kleinfelds gets women from all over North America and I even saw an episode with an Angolan bride. I’m sure this happens all the time at Kleinfelds. Now, I don’t agree on insisting they spend hours and hours with one bride or EVER ask to stay after closing. I’d want to try on a minimum of 6 dresses before saying Yes!

it's probably not a hugely expensive dress and so she's thinking she can't buy it because it's not expensive enough. But I have seen brides on this show and other wedding shows that like the shopping process. They are the centre of attention and everyone is catering to them

A whole four hour appointment is ridiculous. The fact that she expected Diane to stop her current appointment for is incredibly rude and disrespectful to hang around until closing time.
The bride is annoying and I don’t think she has very many friends. I wouldn’t be surprised if daddy offered his soon to be son-in-law a job in the family business in order to keep his little girl financially happy.

I think a large part of it was privilege and entitlement, but I also get a sense she was subconsciously stalling because she either hasn't come to terms with the fact that she's getting married, or she has reservations about the groom that she met SEVEN WEEKS AGO

It worked out for her. They are still married. I looked her up. She still has the last name and is listed as living together with him. So, I think they are still married. Edit: Another comment says that they are divorced now. But I couldn't find that on Google. But, I could be wrong.

I think Randy had the nicest view on her. In that, he doesn't think she's being intentionally malicious. Just oblivious to everyone else's needs around her. It's obviously her wedding deess and it's important. But it cannot trump the fact that her family was exhausted from all the looking they did all day.
A lot of people would call her a brat. I would say inconsiderate is the word I'd use.
If I did that and I was thinking of that dress. I would've gone back and said 'hey, I know it's half an hour to closing time and I'm really sorry but I really couldn't keep that dress out of my head. Could I please try it one more time to confirm if it's truly the one I want?'
Like I wouldn't waste so much of their time to make them stay so much past closing time. They got to get home and relax a bit as well.

The thing also is the engaged couple knew each other in High School. They did not just meet. I read the wedding announcement. They reconnected probably in the timeframe they speak of but they have known each other for years and lost touch
I live in Southern California and many of my friends have taken their daughters to NYC to shop for their wedding dresses. They have done EXACTLY what Nicole did and book appointments at a number of different salons. Kleinfelds gets women from all over North America and I even saw an episode with an Angolan bride. I’m sure this happens all the time at Kleinfelds. Now, I don’t agree on insisting they spend hours and hours with one bride or EVER ask to stay after closing. I’d want to try on a minimum of 6 dresses before saying Yes!
