Hello Johny. .. thanks for this very useful tutorial. I have a question though. While playing out the tenor part, I realized you were skipping the 7th degree of the Bb major scale that is the A note. Could you explain why? Thanks
Interestingly you made a tutorial when i thought of knowing the parts of a song
Spiritual man😂🔥🔥
Aww we bless God for that
Pls teach us in the key of F
thank you for this education GOD BLESS, but is it applied in all songs?
Certainly there are exceptions to every rule...
sure snr thanks, i wish to learn more so keep up the good work @@Johnykeys
Hi Johnnie, I subscribed. But ia m recording a song and the alto was quite a challenge. if you don't mind we can link up
Hi Stanley, I am not so much into vocals. What I've given is the foundation. If you want to build on that, seek professional help.
You're great bro the love is dead for you
Could u pls send me the link for the part 1
It's in the description box
Hmm I'm out of words
True other tenors are way up there
PART 3: th-cam.com/video/wjpiY-QP4fQ/w-d-xo.html
So what if it’s a song that start from 2 Chord
Use the same idea
The tenor is low here, but in some songs its requires high note how about that ?
That's what they call high tenor... And that is correct as well
Hii
Please what is the name of this song and the singer's social media handle?
Thank you
Deitrick haddon is the artist
Thank youu. I meant the name of the man singing in this our video?
So in every song, the main line is sung by soprano?
There are exceptions to every rule... Remember
If the song is sang by a male voice ,then tenor will most likely be singing the main line, same goes for soprano and alto
My take is this, (do re mi fa so la ti do): soprano starts with "mi", Alto starts with "do", tenor starts with "so". Please advise if this is the right way to think about this subject. How about the bass? I think the bass can can start with "do", or "so" or "fa" on low keys. Please advise. Thanks for this nice video!!
You really need to watch the part 1. I've explained that....
@@Johnykeys will do thanks
@@Johnykeys Bro you got lots of video title part1, which part1 video is relevant to my questions, in my comments?
@@DavidMMKing check the title of this video
And add part 1
I don't even know how to play a keyboard, how do I do this?😅
Just learn all 12 major scales and you'll be good
😇
No explanation why the specific notes are chosen. Some basic clarification on the proper intervals would have helped to understand the chord structure.
Go watch the part 3
@@Johnykeys Followed your suggestion, watched part three. A cheat that works…some of the time. Maybe there’s other sources that provide more in-depth understanding.
@lawrenceedwards2993 sure...to be a pro with this,I'd advice you get hire proper vocal coach.
