Have you seen there is also Anker tee. Same pattern as the summer tee but thinner yarn. This comment is for Sam. Do you have access to numerous pairs of hat needles. If you could get 4-6 cast on in a short time it would help you get each step down better cast on work ribbing flat, join in the round work body, work decreases, cast off and seam the ribbing. Once you’ve done a few this way then try doing ribbing in the round from the start. I once heard you do 10,000 of each type of stitch before it feels natural. I don’t think it will be that many joins but a lot for sure. If you want to be good at hat knitting (or any other item) you will if you keep trying. But by all means if you don’t want to knit a certain thing don’t ľet anyone make you feel like you should.
