You saved me £ 680.00 I did my first topend build on my yz 125 2001 only thing I struggled with was measuring my piston ring when it was going back in the cylinder but the bike has done 6 hours now and going great thank you so much

My 96 yz has been sitting for quite a while, it blew up a little after i got it, taught me most people dont care for their stuff so nothing mustve been changed for a good while. Well just last week i mustered the courage to say f it and take the top end off. Turns out the ring gave up, chunked the piston and it blew a chunk off the power valve. Now i have no idea where to get this new cylinder kit. I just have one question, Do you know if the Athena 144cc will fit a 96 yz 125?
I just got off the phone with them they only make 97 or newer, trying my hardest to find one of these cylinder kits from a reputable brand. Can't find OEM in good condition at all honestly. Do you have any recommendations? After this I'll leave you alone

Thanks man, But no sorry I didn’t do a video for powder coating the frame. The colour I used is illusion royal blue from prismatic powders

It doesn’t look like it does from the description. Kit says 1997 and on bud i would contact Athena and ask for the answer

My cylinder got messed up on my 96 125 I bought a 03 expansion chamber and a 03 top end kit with piston an cylinder an that’s what I’m running
