I got a 06 Kx250f for $800 from a guy on Marketplace. Same purple frame & hubs, only difference is the one I grabbed had Purple rims also. I was thinking of doing orange spokes & decals with a black fender kit. Similar to the Phoenix suns color way. I really like your purple & green though, giving Hulk vibes
amazing videos i own a 12 myself and will be doing a total rebuild in the winter. I have a question Tho that hopefully you can help me with im currently installing a new timing chain because my timing seems a bit off when at top dead center on the flywheel window, but the dots don't seem to line up like they are supposed to on the intake camshaft gear the exhaust side seems fine tho. Are those "side" dots supposed to line up flat on top of the head deck? and the dots at the top are slightly facing each other inward?
@@Allen-u5o it’s hard to armchair mechanic this kind of thing but the marks need to be lined up like they are in the video or in the service manual. If you’re finding it difficult to do maybe check and see if cam gear hasn’t spun on the cam shaft a little bit. That can cause a mistimed condition
Hello!! I also have a kawasaki kx250f 2012 and it has 75 hours. I have a question, what parts should my motor mention? because I don't know when his piston and chain were changed, I would like to try to do it yourself. The motorcycle works well. you will simply perform major maintenance on the bike. please help!!
@@northernmx5973 haha alright. Which brand did you get? I just got a cylinder works kit for mine for $600 but it was really tempting to try some of the chinese kits with all the same parts included for $200
Great video need more people like this explaining in detail

46:38 I’ve had good luck with a pick and a little assembly lube. I stick them to the pick with lube and wipe them off where they belong.
Is that a WERA pivoting 3/8 ratchet?
Measure the skirt of the piston next time not the crown.
Ok dumb question here when you order the top end gasket kit where does the rubber o-ring go ?
