Unfortunately Adidas had to cutback in basketball after 2018 because they were putting so much into these great shoes like the Crazy Explosives, Crazylight Boost and Hardens but they weren't selling well enough to justify the premium materials

I switched to the hyper dunk and same thing it fell off around like 2019. Idk any shoe available for like $75 at academy that is actually high quality.

Stockx just verified and shipping out to me the Jordan 36 year of Tiger, cost me about $497, great colorway I am not going wear them because like Kobe 10 elite which is now $1,200 dollar I won't wear the Jordan 36 year of Tiger and save them up as collectable shoes. Honestly I haven't seen many Jordan 36 Year of the Tiger shoes so my guess is it a great collectors shoe, wearing them would depreciate the value

Kyrie 2 is god tier shoes all over. The shoes fucking injury free. Feel the court. Traction > everything else. Sliding gives injury which never happen with Kyrie 2. Light shoes = less chance of injuries on calves and eveyrhting. Solid heel actually better then cushion heel. I dunk the fk outta in these only as a 5”8
My best so far: Adidas crazyquick 2.0 (John Wall ed). Light, great traction , great feeling of the court. The worst: Air Jordan Flight 45 High. I just destroyed my ankles in them, and were 3 times reapaid, each tiem after few months.

I love my Crazy Explosive. Beastly traction and the Boost cushion really is super comfortable but my favorite about it is how stable my feet is because it just is super wide. I also love my Lillard 2. That Continental rubber outsole is still going strong even after 6 years of playing.

I'm always surprise in top ten or different top of basketball shoes, that the D-Rose 7 never appears. I had the low version and it was freaking amazing.
Ok so this might just be me, because if Sammy rates it, then I do trust him BUT, a little story: I got the Curry 4’s and the next day was January 1st, and the court that I play at had a new years party, so it was dusty as hell, there wasn’t anything to clean the court with but I moved the chairs outside the three point line so at least I had a bit of space and I hooped, after that OBVIOUSLY the shoes were dusty as hell, so I whipped them (and like “washed” the bottom with water so all the dust would go away) and after I went to practice, but the shoes DID NOT WORK AS THEY SHOULD HAVE, for a decent couple months and by that I mean 3 or 4 the bite was meh, but after that, I was basically ice skating. So I said this to say, even thought the beginning part could have caused this, I cleaned them and still didn’t cut it (mind you the court is always very clean, and I mean really clean), so yea it just ruined the shoe for me, as in I had so much hope for it, and honestly it looked amazing, but yea, traction was absolute garbage.

Ok so this might just be me, because if Sammy rates it, then I do trust him BUT, a little story:
I got the Curry 4’s and the next day was January 1st, and the court that I play at had a new years party, so it was dusty as hell, there wasn’t anything to clean the court with but I moved the chairs outside the three point line so at least I had a bit of space and I hooped, after that OBVIOUSLY the shoes were dusty as hell, so I whipped them (and like “washed” the bottom with water so all the dust would go away) and after I went to practice, but the shoes DID NOT WORK AS THEY SHOULD HAVE, for a decent couple months and by that I mean 3 or 4 the bite was meh, but after that, I was basically ice skating.
So I said this to say, even thought the beginning part could have caused this, I cleaned them and still didn’t cut it (mind you the court is always very clean, and I mean really clean), so yea it just ruined the shoe for me, as in I had so much hope for it, and honestly it looked amazing, but yea, traction was absolute garbage.
Jordan 29, lebron 10, some soldiers, Melo 10 made my list
I still have my Hyperdunk 2010 (NikEid) and 2011 - before collecting shoes were a fad as today.
