ABC10 has the best coverage for weather in this part of California.
Checking in from Montana w/concern over these storms following our Yellowstone River flooding last summer. I'm in awe at the quality of this weather briefing. We're in a position where we shouldn't waste a single drop, but have to release water because there's no room to store snowmelt. All it takes is a year or two of dryer weather and we'll be right back into drought.

Central and southern ca received a lot more snow and rain than here up north. This system is adding to our storage. Lake Shasta is at only 62 percent of 5 year average, so we’re not releasing.

Nevada City refugee here. We made it off Banner mountain a week ago Monday. Hoping we return to an intact home. 🙏 We’re at 3200+ feet and power is still out.

Well, last year everyone was complaining/concern about the drought and praying for rain. Now, I am happy prayers have been answered.

I would not be surprised by your statement. I think we are bombarded all day, everyday by the media with weather tragedies it gives the impression the world is coming to an end. But. Like someone else stated this is all cycular patterns.

We have the most “intelligent” scholars in the nation living in Ca. But cant figure out how to create more water storage? Reinforcing existing reservoirs? Does anyone have a legit answer to this? Are we still trying to “save” the smelt???
