I love that you take us along in your creative process, including the "should've's". Thanks!
My grandmother used to do this! Hers were not always to scale but that's what makes them special to me. Her bird was sometimes as big as a tree or a barn, but they are beautiful! I'm fortunate to have some of her projects. She's the one who instilled the joy of quilting in me. I remember sitting on her lap at her singer treadle machine rocking side to side as we made things. She gave me that very machine when I turned 13. Now, 53 years later, I vividly recall that memory everytime I look at it proudly displayed in my home! Thank you for taking your time and sharing with us. 🇺🇸
Awwwhhh how wonderful 🥰❤️😀
That is just too precious. Thanks for that Beth. So talented and. So imaginative. Bless you. ❤️🇦🇺
Another amazing creation by Beth!! 😻 Thanks for always giving your FANS a lesson on creating something from what you might have laying around.
I have so many Antique hand made items handed down, I just might get them out of closet and try doing something like this.
💜
My mother in law did applique this way. She made clothing, home decor, and quilts. Your cardinal came out beautiful!!
I loved watching this cardinal,"Come to life", thankyou for sharing your time with us.
Beautiful so far. My daughter in law feeds the birds as soon as she gets here. We usually see a Cardinal every morning.
The sweetest little bird picture.🤗🙏
I love your ideas 😊.
Oh, I love this. I love cardinals. It is our state bird. We move from one side of town to the other last year. There are no cardinals on this side of town. We do have bluebirds which we did not have on the other side of town. You always have interesting projects. You are so creative.
What a fun project!! Cardinals are my favorite birds. So creative as always!!
Excellent showing each stage and your thought process 👍 😊
That is quite cool. I love the idea of getting to repurpose an item. I was thinking some red sequins on the wing. Gosh all sorts of different applique thoughts come to mind. Fabric paint as well.
Good Morning Beth, I love your Cardnial, so Fun. I really enjoy appliqué. Your project is coming along nicely. Take Care, 🥰 Chris
Very cute!
Another wonderful project to inspire us 🤩 Thanks Beth 👏👏🇬🇧
Thank you for this. Sweet and simple.
I learn the same way: trial & error!! It’s beautiful & I’m eager to try this process for my daughters. Thank you
Happy Easter Beth. You’re my little piece of peace. Thank you . From West Australia 💖🇦🇺

I always love seeing what you come up with, I haven't decided if applique is or will be in my wheelhouse; but I enjoy watching you and your talents!!
Oops, looks like the picture hanger is upside down 🤔. Very sweet cardinal art. Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
I just stumbled across your channel. I’ve watched a couple of videos so far. And so far I like it. I will be subscribing to your channel. I’m a sewer/crafter/ creator and I’m always looking for new things to do. Looks like you have content that has hasn’t been repeated a million times on TH-cam.
Turned out great! Thanks for sharing the process.
As always Beth, a very talented piece of work. Cardinals are one of my favorite birds and I have lots of pairs that come to my feeders here in Houston.
Very nice
You are so very creative!
Beautiful!
Very nice idea. For your looks very nice
Hello Beth. Sorry to say, I fell again last night. I could not get up so I used my security button and called for help. They called my daughter and she and her husband got me up. Nothing broken thank God. Hope you read this and reply. Have a good day. Leta.😊
I'm glad that my daughter, Beth wasn't here to listen to me shout "It's upside down Beth!" She would have been so confused.😂 The teeth on that hanger should have been the other way, would hang better. Still a wonderful project, though ❤. Beautiful work 👏
lol! I wondered if I was attaching it correctly. I should have asked😉
@@bethshibleyquilts At least you know for the next time?😂 I learned from having done it the wrong way myself.
👍❤️😊

Artists wet the paper, and it shrinks and becomes tight
Thanks for the info! I have lots to learn 🙂
The eye's not right. Other than that I like it.
As Beth said, this is a primitive interpretation not an ornithological drawing. It’s fine as far as I’m concerned.
