Top job fellas, these new slug guns have come along way since I was a kid, bloody hell, now I gotta save up more money, can’t take it with ya I suppose, keep the great content coming Rod, cheers Yogi ✌️
You have made my morning. I am like a little kid when I see you have posted. I enjoy the humor and truly enjoy your videos, you never let us down. Great shooting as usual. Cheers and thank you for taking the time to post.
Good night result guys. Those outfits are something else Rod. It’s great to hear Aussie banter. I miss that over here in NZ where I am now. Thanks for the vid and laughs guys. Take it easy.
Bloke's like you 2 are what makes us proud to be fun lovin' Aussies. What are mates for if you can't throw a bit of shit around. LOL. Good nights shootin' as well as fun.
Hahahaha! I know Scotty, l haven't seen a hare that big for awhile either mate... They shave these days.. Dunno what lm saying.. but a runway is nice to aim up on.. after a few... Leave it at that.👍🏼
Hiya mate. What's the situation regardin air rifles in Oz ?. Do you need a licence, and are there power restrictions ?. Here in England there's no licenc needed up to 12 fpe, but over that you feed a FAC ( firearm certificate ). Always nice to know how things work in other parts of the world. 🙂 Really enjoyed this video too by the way.
Hi, in EU are parts where air rifle up to 0,25 caliber is no energy limit( netherlsnd, Austria). I use airguns 0,25 and 0,22 with aprox 45 and 30 Joule for hunting small and medium game, lots of fun. Ducks and pigeon take body/spine neck shots. Rabbits and hares near ( 25 m) headshot, 40-50 m body shot(lungs/spine) and finish them closer. When you are lucky can take europien deer if its close enough (25-30 m headshot is lethal, neckshot tried onestime success -direct hit spine with 50 Joule 30 m far). Foxes and feral cats are sometimes hard and coon too. If you meet nutria rat 15-25 m, its death nutria( only headshots in goog angle, goes entire head throo, both sides hole, body shot nit recomended, they swim away and are lost in holes. If lucky can try beaver, if sits on bank head exposed ear side to you, frontal headshot do not recommend, its longbway to brain and death not sure if you miss a little. And again water mammal no body shot,headshot- ear or nothing. Beaver and fox is for me hardest game to hunt, hare and deer(20-30 lbs animal) easy task if right conditions( weather to be able surprice them near enough). I know guys whitch hunt cormorants( fisheating duck). Hog pig may by posible with very good shotplacement, may be dangerous.
107 m 💪👈 bit worried about the man with a bag of rabbits that's not where the Dirty Birds coming from is it ... ( actual Caddyshack bloke ) not just mass eradication from a peanut paddock
Hey rod just wondering in one of your older videos huntin pigs your mate was running a clip on. Does he still use it and happy with it if you know? New clipons have come a long way. Thinkin of gettin one.
Yes mate. He swears by em. He uses the HikMicro Thunder 2.0 and the Pulsar Krypton. There is a new HikMicro Thunder 3.0 just about to hit the market with built in laser rangefinder too
Bullet's specs are programmed into a ballistic calculator, then a laser rangefinder shows an x under the crosshair to account for distance/trajectory. Digital NVs can have it all for
@@johncmitchell4941 Thanks mate I appreciate that. I run two Thermion 2 XP50 PRO's on my Mini 14 and Mini 30 for feral control work so I'm all good with the precept of the concept. We're running Webley break action air rifles for some of our more sensitive work and I'm moving over the the FX or something similar and I'm just getting as much info as I can. Plus a comment is good for the algorithm and it all helps.
@@waylandforge8704 Glad to hear you're so well equipped, Mate! Those Thermion 50s are pretty sweet. btw, I was kinda answering to 'anybody' who liked your question. Cheers!
😂so good to watch those air rifles are awesome I have the old school high powered spring cranker sluggy it’s great but I think I’ll have to upgrade now? 👍
