Actually the kettle is positioned such that any penetrating hit that would send shrapnel towards the ammo has to go through the kettle too as a defence measure. Combine details like that not being modelled, stuff that's just wrong for everyone, (High tier stabilisers working at any move speed, different suspension systems not being modelled, e.t.c.), and outright miss modelling and you have the reason the Challenger is so rough.
@@darthkarl99 also, the challenger 2 is said to have the best functioning armour out of all NATO MBTs. But nobody knows the armour composition. No Challenger 2 has been lost in combat to an enemy. and im not saying an impenetrable monster should be in the game but the challenger's armour ingame is disappointing, because nobody other than the engineers and crew know the armours real thickness and reliability and so cannot be properly implemented into the game mechanics, or at least slightly toned down.
@@bigfellarino552 It's actually even worse than that. Aside from a whole bunch of outright bugs that a Chally 2 commander is in the process of gathering the info, (needs to be approved by the censors for release), to bug report, (the side hull and rear hull should be 50mm, ditto parts of the turret roof and whilst we didn't get a value yet on the engine deck he indicated each of the doors on that weigh 700kg's so i'd bet 50mm again. Also the dorchester on the turret sides and hull sides should be 200mm raw thickness and the side hull stuff is mounted to a 50mm backplate IRL thats missing, also the mantlet isn''t hollow but a solid 700mm+ of material, just to name a few), there's also the fact that several things are highly inconsistent. For example in game the mantlet on the chally 2 is Rolled Hemogonous, whilst the mantlet on the 2F is Cast. They should both be rolled, they're the same tank. Likewise the effectiveness of the dorchester composite isn't the same between different packs. the side packs and LFP block on the 2F have a tiny fraction of the UFP packs which are still weaker than the turret cheek packs. If that was acurratte alone you'd be looking a another 120mm of armour on the hull and turret sides from those packs, and several hundred mm on the LFP.
Of course given the ifno we have on the chally 2 being proofed against all current NATO ammo on the turret weakpoints and UFP weakpoints, (and the 2F toeplate is suppoed to bring the LFP upto the same rating as the UFP), the entire turret and hull front should be more like 700mm which with what that means for dorchester minimum KE values would make the hull sides around 300mm effective and the turret sides 250mm effective.
And thats before we get into issues of the suspension and torque a the tracks, (Both the best in NATO with notable advantages in several scenarios, especially the suspension). Or the general lack of modelling of insensitive munitions and internal bulkheads. Also misplaced ammo, and crew.

For anyone who's wondering what the picnic table is actually for, it sends out tea signals that block radio and other systems that connect to electronic or radio devices around it. This prevents manual IEDs being set off as the signal never reaches the bomb until the challenger is out of range.

You know, the best part about the Challengers is how big, heavy and slow they are, they are true tanks, and that’s why they will always be my favourite top tanks.

Speaking of the gym, has anyone ever been to a gym with an indoor racket ball court and just stood in there by yourself, slamming the rubber racket balls against the floor and walls as hard as possible? I remember doing that when I was younger and went to the YMCA. The *sound* those things made when you slammed them against a wall was incredible.

I mean there are the russians, america is fun as well and the japanese are interesting as well. Sweden is basicly germany and france can be fun as well. China is not really in a great spot but there is some fun around.
@@angrywehraboosnoises8016 Russian win rates are at about 30-40% right now while German is above 60-70% but I still enjoy playing Russia as the underdog. A lot of it could definitely be because of the T-72 TURMS premium though.

And I know lots of people playing WT that have similar stats, even though there are now Harrier, Leopard 2A6 and more. By saying " a win rate about 30-40% ", do you mean an average win rate on the whole tech tree or what ?

Hot tip for making the Stormer actually useful: aim at the lead circle while the full missile is going and once it breaks into darts aim directly at the jet. The main case goes slower! Advice for any future endeavors!

Phly, if you havent seen the British AH Mk. 1 Starstreaks being used properly you've gotta work them out. there are some funny conflicts with the usual keybinds that may throw it off for most people but when you have it working properly it absolutely decimates everything.
