Excellent informative video, shows lots of important details. I have D4S and I am thinking about buying this one too. It is a shame they put the control panel in the stem, so that stem not just a unique part I cant buy in case it is broken, but I cant upgrade it using a standard stem. Usually the handlebars is too low and I have to position the saddle to the pedal, so I have to buy a new stem and/or new handlebars. Is the fork can be replaced?

I would like see it go up a steep hill rather than just on the flat, also do you get any regen to charge the battery when coasting down hill. I love how light it is.
It handles steep hills quite well. 15/20% are easily negotiable. There's a tiny regen but nothing of substance.
I have angina and my normal bike I struggle with. Would this bike take the pressure off ?

36v 208wh battery. About 25km on level 2 assist. You need a battery range extender which is 214wh if you're doing longer daily trips

If you follow the link to the Fiido website, then in the specifications section it states that the top speed is 25 km/hr (15.5 mph). Did Martin have the controller set to km/hr to reach a speed of 20.
That’s extremely slow for an electric bike though, doesn’t so right .
Great review. I am seriously considering buying one and I think you have convinced me. One question. I live in a flat and would have to take the bike up a couple of flights of stairs. You said the bike was light. Do you think this would allow me to carry up the stairs without any problems?

So I have no idea about electric bikes, as in this is literally the first one I've looked at. I'm looking for an electric bike to ride to work on dry days to save using the car as much. It's 7/8 miles each way. Will this do range wise?

I'm glad to see your video, Martin. I've been riding the Fiido C21 for almost three months now, and it's definitely a worthwhile ebike. It's perfect in all aspects.
Have you had any luck finding how to speed unlock this bike? I've heard in other reviews that it has a 'rocket mode' that allows it to assist up to 32km/h?
Nice bike. How they have all come on from the old bikes that were about when I was young , with the little doggy basket on the front, and sit up,and beg bike hehe. What is the weight limit for a person ,with the bike being so light.

The grey you see on website is actually this bike colour. It's a very dark grey which makes it look sleek. The picture on website over exposed.

Was the bike purchased or sent free?
There is so much of this going on in you tube now it’s hard to take people seriously when they are getting so much free stuff delivered to them.
Nearly all review stuff is sent to Content Creators for free to make videos for. It's like when you watch an advert on TV and the person in the advert is a paid actor. The thing with a review video is to showcase a product. Its up to the company who they think can showcase a product and create a good video where people who are interested in a product, get to see all the features in a well made video. Its not about getting stuff for free.
I have reviewed a total of 3 ebikes to date and I have given them away.

Martin was that bike motor still working after 15.5mph? If it is unfortunately it’s illegal for the uk roads.
Its designed to cut off.

@@MrJustsaysean Is it definitely a 250w motor and not a 500/750w restricted to 250w. I want to get theft insurance and if it’s anything above 250w even restricted. I can’t get any theft insurance.
@Erik-LehnsherrX it's listed and sold as 250w but I guarantee you it's a grey area with motors in the ebike industry. I doubt very much every motor sold as 250w is actually that, prob a little bit more. But you should be covered as it's listed as 250w. If you're commuting far every day it isn't the bike to buy. 25km on level assist 2 isn't much

I had an e bike for years , they really are incredible but mine was road legal and restricted to 15 mph , why this country has to have such stupid laws I don’t know , control freaks I think ..Thsnks for showing us .
