Excellent lecture on PLATO by Dr Taimur ur Rahman . The Republic is a Socratic dialogue, authored by Plato around 375 BC, concerning justice , the order and character of the just city-state, and the just man. It is Plato's best-known work, and one of the world's most influential works of philosophy and political theory, both intellectually and historically!! It was written in the Greek Language published in 375 BCE! “The beginning is the most important part of the work.”― Plato, The Republic. Plato's last words before he chose to imbibe the cup of hemlock were" don’t forget to sacrifice a rooster to Asklepios." Asklepios was the son of Apollo---all mythical Gods!! Apollo was attributed with Resurrection and curing the terminally sick!! My favorite "For a man to conquer himself is the first and noblest of all victories."--PLATO

Very informative, thank you. But could you make subtitles for the parts you're not speaking in English?
