Yeah of course, but she does it at her own will and she knows her boundaries. I'm not one to wrap my pet in bubble wrap and stop her cause that's just not fun for anyone.
@Benni B you do realise that you can get seriously injured while doing just about anything, right? I guess you don't condone children swimming in the ocean, climbing a tree, or playing any sports either, just in case something bad happens.
My red heeler passed away years ago and she could climb ladders but she insisted that she walked down head first and didn't jump until one of the bottom steps. That's Kelpies for ya though, love a good hop skip and jump. I have one now and she's got legs alright. Gotta look after them though
Anyone who has a problem with this is the problem do some research on the breed my girl will jump of the Ute going 80kms they are geniuses like there is times you will wonder why the animal is still alive then after she does all that she sleeps the little spoon
Yes ok this looks cool in all but I have a bunk bed and my australian kelpie sleeps on the bottom, well I was watching TH-cam and he tried to climb it, it was not safe, he fell off but he's fine, so now I sleep on the bottom bunk with him. Please don't do it unless its a ramp, or at least a sturdy ladder, that looked like two ladders stacked on each other
Oliver Webb She's like a guard dog in some ways...the smooth black coat; the hard eye. I have a Kelpie/Jack Russell cross. he's so brave and active that he's inspiring...puts me in a good mood everyday. Wish you a happy life with your Kelpie.
Jumping down from that height is NOT going to be good for the dogs joints later in life. Yep you think your smart getting her to do this, but it's actually detrimental to the dog. You are about as smart as a Collingwood supporter.
This is some shit my dog would do. Except unprompted. There's a reason I call her my genius trainwreck.
That dog gave him the look like:
"Daaamn...!!!! you dumbass - you threw my ball up on the roof again"!!!
I just got a black Kelpie and they are so loyal, smart, very talky and they are as tough as nails. Great dogs
Same I own a kelpie too. And the stuff they can do and get in to lol
But you got to love them for that
kelpie have amazing balance. Popular for hearding sheep in tight quarters. Often trained to run on top of sheep lol. Good looking pups
They make running on sheep look natural lol. It’s like sheep surfing.
dude this was cool but arent you afraid the dogs breaks his legs jumping that high? or trips on the ladder falls on its head and breaks his neck?
Yeah of course, but she does it at her own will and she knows her boundaries. I'm not one to wrap my pet in bubble wrap and stop her cause that's just not fun for anyone.
+Oliver Webb love that response
fucking legend

@Benni B who dictates what is an acceptable amount of risk and what is not?

my dog Kappy always did when I went in my playhouse that has a ladder, before he passed away I miss that fun goof ball.

that dog looks like its been on the roof plenty of times
What a damn good dog!
Oh my god I that a fucking home phone ringing in the background?! What a throwback

the final jump, awesome. i really wish a kelpie dog but i cant find a breeder here in Argentina, anyway, your dog is very beautifull, saludos...
Get a rello to bring one back as hand luggage
That jump should be made a symbol like Air Jordan. It was epic.
This is like my kelpie! “Ain’t no mountain high “ is the song he would dedicate to getting a ball. Lol amazing !
I have 2 sausage dog+kelpie hybrids. One black and one orange red. They love to cuddle
Great dog
I got a Kelpie he a spider dog they climb every thing to any thing
amazing !!!, i dont think my kelpie would do that, although he loves games ???
Amazing
Mastered that jump off like a pro!
and that's how you get joint injuries and accumulated trauma that cripples a dog
@@top-dogk9training You should tell that to the person who filmed this
@@theoscout9205 Obviously it's in the comment section where it can be read by all, isn't it?
@Top-Dog K9 Training my exact thoughts, someone who is brain dead, must be a Collingwood supporter!
Bloody telemarketers 😬
LOL I can train my dog 1000 years & it will never do that!
Awesome,
That's cruel. The top ladder is upside down.
No mate the top ladder is a part of the bottom ladder
Brave dog
I get it. I have a Kelpie!
Today I tried to do the same with my wife and had problems ...
niceeeee...
they look scared poor dog
If she was scared, she wouldn't climb the ladder!
So cool
Awesome dog.
When the dog brought the ball back, I`m sure she said `There`s ur damn ball !`` Lol
Haha its more like "is that all you've got... THROW IT AGAIN"
Oliver Webb
True, they never get tired of catching the ball, or a stick. They`ll do that all day!!
Страшно за стбаку. Если она сорвется, будет травма.
💯
Beautiful n smart dog but you should b ashamed making it jump down so far. It’s going to break a leg. Jumping that far is animal cruelty.
What's the other dogs breed
I BET THIS IS NOT TAKEN the other dog is also a kelpie
Why on earth do you throw a ball up there and tell your dog to get it? I don´t like this at all.
Poor dog!!
That's a beautiful kelpie. She's very slim and long. How old is she?

The all black Kelpie were always refered to as Barb s in times past 20+years
