These guys sound fkg great whichever song they play live. I had a feeling (was hoping) that Sanitarium was going to be played tonight. One of my favourite songs to be a part of at a live show.
This new stage is doing my head in , the old 📷 person doing the best they can , seems very cold , I love Metallica ❤️ everything about them , absolutely love the the new album.
This used to be my least favorite number 4 ballad from the first albums. Now I see, there's no "least favorite" number 4 ballad from the first albums. Masterpiece
while this isn't my favorite, it holds a good spot in my heart. It was my dads favorite song. He requested to have me perform this at his funeral. just gotta keep shredding through the tears
Awesome 👍👍 friend TY we used to listen to this song back in early 90s when we started for WAR in Middle East. Then IRAQI Freedom Afghan Wars to We Marines love it. It was spiritual meaning thing for us
Don't know if Kirk has switched pickups or his amp but sounding the best he has since the 90s. His guitar sound has been a little flat until the post-Covid era.
You're very close so you're hearing the actual drum kit, but does anyone have any idea how well the sound travels at these shows? I saw RHCP and GnR last year at Stadiums and, as has always been my experience in those ginormous venues - the sound really isn't very clear. Things lag, and the kit is mostly just snare drum if anything. Some please let me know as I have tickets for Gothenburg both nights
FFS Lars needs to work with someone on changing his mechanics and thinking. His time is all over the place. He doesn't need to improvise every friggin song. Which means he hasn't listened to older material in quite a while. If he does, he'll realize he doesn't need indulgence.
@@deadvalley6930 latency does not exist to live sound only studio recordings and if there was latency it would be through a pro shot video and not a phone recording like this
Lar's never gets the respect he truly deserves! The 4 Amigo's sound awesome!

I love this angle, I can see clearly Lars beating those drums like a maniac!

Looks like Kirk is playing the Peter Green Les Paul.

He has a new toy in his signal chain - a copy of Schaffer Vega Wireless System. He claims that it does a lot of good stuff to his live sound.
I really miss the intro. Why on earth do they not play it anymore??
because Metallica is becoming lazy as far as playing intros

See all that space? Sound carries well. You're gonna dig it. 😊
