Finally!!! Thank you so much. I hate that the only tutorials I can find involve painting my beautiful wood cabinets. I want to highlight the natural wood not hide it! This trend is going to become very popular I bet!
I never comment on these videos, but I just had to say how thrilled I was to find yours. I waited over three years to do something with my oak cabinets because I just couldn't bring myself to paint them like everyone else and I couldn't decide on a stain. The pink ivory you suggested was the exact effect I was going for. I am now working on the lower cabinets and was hoping you might suggest a complimentary contrasting stain. I was leaning toward a greige or taupe, but haven't found the right shade of stain yet. Any suggestions would be great.
THANK YOU so much for the wonderful comment!!! My only thoughts on a complementary yet contrasting stain would be to pick something that DOES NOT have blue undertones...red and blue are opposites on the color wheel so next to each other the pink will look redder and the blue-ish will look bluer.
Searched all over for a tutorial on updating honey oak to a blonde…thank you! I’m confused about stirring the polyurethane. You first mentioned not to stir because it causes bubbles and then went on to say it’s important to stir. Help!

Thank you for saying so. ♥
So inspiring I’m very appreciative thank you! Great great super duper work you do!
Thank you! Wish I could do more of these videos but my day (and night) job takes up most of my time. 🙂
Been looking everywhere for this tutorial! Thanks for sharing what you learned
Thanks so much for saying so!!! 🥰
Love it! I love the idea. Hate the thought of throwing out SOLID WOOD cabinets but also don't want to hide the natural beauty. Thank you!
Thanks for commenting and glad you enjoyed!😀
This is great! I plan on sanding and staining my yellow oak kitchen cabinets.
Yay! Glad it was helpful to you.

for drilling just use a painters tape and put them on the handle . mark the holes, peel and put to the cupboard

Stir ok - don’t shake. 🙂
I must have mis-spoke.
How long in elapsed time did this take you? Maybe by each step?
This was awhile ago so I honestly don't remember. But definitely can take awhile the more pieces you have...😬
