And the Oscar for the BEST aircraft/airline review EVER goes to the Vicarious Voyager. You sir are an absolute genius and this, like your other offerings are the epitome of excellence. Thank you for your time and your effort, although this seems effortless to you.
I am always blown away with the quality of your videos, the animations, cinematography, voiceovers, and your personality. Everything is funny and exudes positivity.
I've been watching so many travel reviewers and an ultra frequent traveller myself. So glad to see a much younger, better looking and way less cringe worthy version of Sam Chui
So fun , I’m a retired American Airlines captain , flying 767-300 international LAX LHR and LAX / Hawaii KOA/OGG/LIH - your channel is FUN , educational , your MOM is proud !1
Interesting facts about Mirabel: PE Trudeau was the man behind Mirabel’s construction. It was supposed to be a Montreal/Ottawa serving massive airport with 6 runways and 6 terminals (only two of each were built). It failed because it was just too far to all city centres and it was built on the speculation that planes heading to Pacific North America from Europe would have to stop and fill up (think similar to Anchorage, Alaska). Of course plane technology improved before the airport was ever completed and airlines didn’t like being forced away from Dorval. Ironically, PE got an airport to his namesake, just the airport he wanted shut down not the one he wanted built.
Hey there! This is the first video I watched from you and I have to say that the quality I found here was outstanding. I work at YUL for Air Canada but I still really appreciated the information about the city and airport. If I was a foreigner planning to visit this city, that intro would've been right up my alley. Thank you so much for sharing your work and I am proud to say that you have found a new subscriber in me!
Yes indeed. But can you do a behind-the-scenes of your editing process? At least for once.Starting with the sort of tools you use and all. Some of us wanna learn from you. Cheers
Just saw this video instantly impressed by the story telling, sarcastic humour and what looks like a pretty self aware and transparent "review" or presentation of an Airline product. Good work man keep it up, this style of video is unique, well executed and I cant wait to see more!
Wow, after watching 2 videos of you, I can already tell you have past Dennis Bunnik as my favourite trip reporter. You are hilarious while monotone and honest, damn this channel deserves more.
Amazing trip report! I just wanted to note that Montreal recently started building the new REM (Réseau Express Métropolitain) project. This will be a train/monorail linking many parts of the city to downtown Montreal, with even a link between the airport and downtown! Can’t wait for this to be built, it will sure give an upgrade to the experience of local travellers like me! 😃
0:38 now some of you viewers have expressed interest in me making hotel reviews, I'm not opposed to the idea but I was thinking about making another channel just for that. If you have any thoughts on the subject please leave a comment down below and I'll be sure to ignore you. lol
What a beautifully equipped cabin! European airlines could learn a lot from this on how to equip a business class cabin on a narrow-body aircraft. For example, BA just keeps the centre seat of three empty in business class. Leg room is the same as Economy. Food is nice though.
Love the humour, and I have followed the C-Series from day one ,glad to see this amazing aircraft representing Canada. With family from Havre Boucher and Montreal this aircraft to me is personal. The deicing humour was ideal!
Your video quality is top notch. Love the graphics depicting the flight path and the metro system. This is really helpful for people who haven’t been to this airport before. I appreciate the effort this takes, instead of a basic edit of your flight footage. You really should have triple the subs you’ve currently got.
Not sure why your videos were recommended to me in the first place but I've been binge-watching your videos ever since. Not particularly a fan of planes but I watching to hear your comments and too see your great video quality.
Mate, brilliant content. By far, the most innovative within the category. Regarding the A220, it's hard to believe how well designed this narrow-body is. Everything looks spacious and neat.
I absolutely love your style. Your videos are amazingly crisp and well shot. Your commentary while sometimes bordering on sarcastic in a good way truly had me cracking up with this video. Air Canada should use your video to promote the A220. Would love to see more videos with perhaps the ME3 and especially some Asian Carriers. I think I only saw Cathay Pacific. Keep your great videos coming.
I travel mostly to Europe and within North America for work. However, I am planning a trip on miles to Asia so I’ll look into checking out some of the other asian carriers later in the year!
7:30 ‘that’s a little too much!’ ‘Really,, pal? Sorry you feel that way, but I didn’t design/build the seat- I just paid a premium to use it’ would have been MY response…as I fully extended my seat back😂
Thank you for a very helpful and informative review. You are a pleasure to watch because of the style of your presentation. Nice to see a reviewer who doesn't make the review about themselves. Safe travels.
I say yes to hotel reviews, whether here or on another channel. Planes, trains, hotels, any of it! Your videos are so informative and funny - I'd watch you review an Uber! This channel is criminally underrated. 😀
Hi, your voice is well suited to speaking the narrative. Clever, “tongue in cheek” at times and of course with a focus on the work of an aviation vloger regarding airlines and their fleets. I welcome your style as an enjoyable change to aviation reviews on here, thanks for your great work👍
Best travel channel. And yes, please do hotel reviews on this or whatever other channel. The quality of your videos kicks most other channels' butts. Thanks for ignoring this comment.
I’m flying business class on the a220 this summer and getting my ticket and choosing my seat in a couple of weeks. I always get a window seat and I love looking out the window a lot. When you sat in 1a was it easy to just turn your head and look out the window or would you have to lean ahead a bit. I’m torn between 1A and 2A and keeping the slightly extra leg room of 1A out of the equation is going to guide my decision
“If you have any thoughts on the subject, please leave a comment down below and I’ll make sure to ignore you” congratulations you’ve earned yourself a new subscriber
You surely deserve an TH-cam award for great editing, witty humour, provided information, refraining to use Imperial system and "Not Canada". Keep up the good work! As I like to say: "I am currently unavailable. Please do not leave a message since I wont get back to you. Thank You and Goodbye".
FYI, Montréal is on an island at an angle in the Saint Lawrence and since the city naturally started from the river's edge, well, they just called it south. So the airport is considered west of downtown, despite what maps and the sun and your very impressive animation say.
Just stumbled upon your channel as I am an avgeek and follow many other TH-camrs - yours easily has the best production value and your videos are super slick. It’s great that I share your dry sense of humour too - keep up the great work and you’ve earned a well-deserved follow! 👍👍🙌🏽
As a Montrealer, you make the city look good. Just as a side note the airport used to be just called Dorval which is the name of the "arrondissement" of Montreal where it is located, renamed Pierre Elliott Trudeau as you mentioned in the video, funny fact that the road signs indicate PET which French Quebecers laugh at because "pet" means farting (flatulence).
I just found this channel. As an Aussie, I was enjoying your sense of humour. Then I got stuck wondering whether the red shoelaces were worn as a reference to AC? Moments later you made the foamy de-icing comment and I subscribed immediately! Well done!
I feel like this channel is some type of treasure berried deep down into the ocean. This content is inexplicably great. Truly a massive travel channel yet to be discovered. I´ll be the guy who says "I was here before 40 thousand subs" when our glorious @tiezheng hits 5 million
I really like your channel and airline reviews, I work in aviation and I watch a lot these TH-cam reviews. I really like your frank unbiased approach and also your dry humor. Completely off topic and I hope not too creepy I will also say you are very easy on the eyes. 👍🏻 Keep posting and thanks.
very good Video. AC should go back and reintroduce a free meal and wine in eco on such Long flights. And an international First class cabin which they used to offer C/cl is not enough. But again very interessting video
I really love the content you produce ❤️ Even though I am not an English language native, I consider my level as fine, but your standard is so high “above the skies” that perhaps you might consider captions ;) what do you think?
Excellent video! Gotta love the A220. One side note, I believe the CRJ was the first Canadian jet put into service with Air Canada, also built by Bombardier. It was originally in their mainline fleet before going to the Jazz/Express division.
Glad AC is still flying. Was working for AC in the 80s for 2 yrs & regrettably she went off line. They were flying with the big TOP SIN BOM LHR . Sad though. Flew with AC to LOndon, Halifax & Moncton across the Atlantic. Wish them good.
At 17:30 what I meant to type was "Check Out" Alvin's beautiful videos: th-cam.com/channels/ZJnu3T1YPcUhk1_qs2IgQQ.html
Um Victorias voyager what is this beautiful music
I swear I heard your voice on Alvin's vlog...
This channel is no doubt the best well kept secret of youtube
Literally :D
Totally Agree. He is hilarious and very good.
I agree. I'm surprised he doesn't have many more subs
Yep, I haven't stopped watching him since I've discovered the channel&that was 5 hrs ago 👍👍👍✈️🔝😊
Jonathan L I 💯 agree with you .I have sadly watched all his videos now .
What an awesome video! Love your style! Thanks for taking us along on the inaugural!!
Thanks Jeb! Love your videos!
yea 2 different youtubers with 2 different styles is nice
Whoa Jeb brooks replied.
@@VicariousVoyager Ur Videos are amazing
@@wannaplaythisdavid nah
The fact that you don't have like 500k+ subs already makes me a little mad.
Your reviews are amazing.
And the Oscar for the BEST aircraft/airline review EVER goes to the Vicarious Voyager. You sir are an absolute genius and this, like your other offerings are the epitome of excellence. Thank you for your time and your effort, although this seems effortless to you.
@Steve: Best expression of my own feelings about this young man and his vlogs.
I am always blown away with the quality of your videos, the animations, cinematography, voiceovers, and your personality. Everything is funny and exudes positivity.
Absolutely top-notch production quality video! Such a joy to watch! Thank you so much for the mention and for trading seats with me!
Or course, it was a pleasure to have been able to meet you, been a fan of your videos for a long time!
"His hot, foamy...………" Great one! I'll never look at de-icing the same again. LMAO
Juices... I laughed my ass off.
🤣🤣🤣
Hahahhaa
I've been watching so many travel reviewers and an ultra frequent traveller myself. So glad to see a much younger, better looking and way less cringe worthy version of Sam Chui
Mm Ww 🤣🤣🤣
😏
This Sam Chui bashing shit is getting really old. Everybody has their own style. If you don't like it, you don't have to follow or watch Sam
Why is everyone hating on Sam Chui? He has his own style and millions watch him. Stop hating.
exactly and there is so much detail in it which i like it like maps and so on
So fun , I’m a retired American Airlines captain , flying 767-300 international LAX LHR and LAX / Hawaii KOA/OGG/LIH - your channel is FUN , educational , your MOM is proud !1
"I'll be sure to ignore you" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
love is witty comments :)
Haha i had to rewind because i wasn’t sure if i heard it right the first time
made in canada. Canadians must be very proud flying in this aircraft
The map makes my day. Canada on one side and "not Canada" on the other. :-)
Gundula Gause i live in “Not Canada”and it’s not a fun time.
brother im on my finals and but I CAN'T STOP... it's like I'm marathoning a Netflix series... God your reviews are good
Fantastic stuff, nice meeting you in the terminal afterwards!
Thanks Alex! You as well. I absolutely love your channel, be sure to hit me up next time you're in YTO!

Yeah he wanted it to be like Gander, but alas ETOPS happened and the world changed.

You bribed them with maple syrup 😂
probably the most underrated travel channel, i account it to the fact that it is led by an intellectually inclined man
Norman seems pretty cool, would be a good seat mate to chat with. Also, yes to hotel reviews. Never know what I’m missing out on.
This is the best mix of sarcasm and reliable reviews.
Your hotel review would be so fun informative and offer another way to give your valuable smug fun insights
I appreciate how you narrate your videos. Good choices of words, very informative - also a subtle way of being straight forward. 😊

"Farm to table". Nice. Great to meet you on the flight and to chat a little in Calgary. Cheers from CJ from 2F!
Hey CJ! It was a pleasure meeting you and chatting, hope to see you again during one of these events!

I'm not normally a fan of narrowbodies, but I make an exception for the Bombardier C-Series. Hoping to get a ride on one of these beauties one day.

Great job.

Enjoyed the review and your signature dry humor.... All the best.

Another great video from a master. Thanks!
You did a video with your friend, we loved the chemistry. Will be a great idea to make more videos with her.
Great review and footage
