- happy friday! um. im so sorry this video is so late. i listened to what you guys were saying and i decided to take the time for myself to sleep and enjoy that holidays and not stress over editing! this video also took a weirdly long amount of time to edit. but now its up, thank you for being so patient! hopefully I'll have 2 more vlogs coming at you this week - saturday (where i announce the giveaway) and an easter vlog! so make sure you're subscribed to be notified when they're up. thank you guys for being so awesome :)

You add salt to the water prior to boiling. It helps flavor the pasta but also gets the water to boil water. Science!

I've never seen someone have such a hard time cooking tho! It was hilarious to watch but you should try to learn how to cook! It's honestly lots of fun. Just watch TH-cam videos cause there are literally tons at all sorts of "levels" like from beginner friendly to super fancy

Pasta tip from a lazy college kid! Put the sauce in the pot thing that you cook the noodles in, heat it up on like medium (keep stirring so it doesn't burn), and when it starts to bubble, add your noodles and stir frequently until they're the texture you want. That way you've got less dishes to clean, and the noodles have more sauce flavor! (plus it makes you seem fancy)

Just to be extra af and nerdy the reason you add salt into boiling water is because NaCl(table salt) is an ionic compound and dissociates 100% into its ions when In aqueous solution (so water/H2O). This produces a colligative effect raising the boiling point causing the pasta to cook better. Also it makes the pasta taste better LOL sorry I love you (and Chem)!!!

In college (university here in Australia I guess) the microwave is your best friend! Stir the jarred sauce in with the cooked pasta and chuck it into the microwave for a minute and ya done! Make sure you put a plate over the top so it doesn't splatter in the microwave (less cleaning haha).
That whole "i dont really know how to cook and i dont really feel like trying" is ME af lol

i recommend doing stir frys... get some chicken, rice and you can get steam fresh veggies that you can just throw in the microwave. then throw the rice and veggies together and i usually get soy sauce for the chicken and if im feeling it i shred the chicken and throw that all together and its actually pretty healthy

loveee camp rock! also, pasta life hack: I usually don't cook the sauce in a pan, I just pour it in the pot with the pasta and the hot pasta "cooks" it! makes doing the dishes a lot easier 😂😂

Oh honey. That was a sauce struggle. It's a lot easier if you just pour it in a bowl (I usually just use the bowl I'm gonna eat out of), put a paper towel on top (to protect from splattering), and microwave for 30 seconds. After that, take it out, stir it, and put your finger in it to see if it's warm enough. If not, another 30 seconds (covered with the paper towel!), rinse and repeat until it's warm.
