AT LONG LAST! The Scenic 2002 Schindler Hydraulic Elevators at The Mall at Millennia in Orlando, FL

Over the past decade I've been on TH-cam, I've gotten MULTIPLE requests to film these elevators! However, due to me generally not finding mall elevators to typically be that interesting combined with the fact that we had 2 High Rise Hotels in Orlando with the Touch Sensitive version of the fixtures these elevators have, I've never bothered to come here. But fast forward to last year, ‎@SWFLElevators wanted to come here when he was in town for his birthday, and because these are now the LAST OF THEIR KIND standing in Orlando, I FINALLY came here and filmed these! And NO they did NOT disappoint! Yes, unlike the Rosen Centre/Hilton Buena Vista Palace, these elevators are Hydro and not Traction, and none of the EPCO WGH Fixtures on these elevators are Touch Sensitive unlike those, but that doesn't change the fact that the fixtures are still VERY RARE, and I'm definitely glad to see these elevators are still original! The fixtures are not only very rare and interesting, but the COPs are SURFACE MOUNTED and rest of the elevator cars are COMPLETELY GLASS allowing for views both of the mall atrium and the elevator lobby facing the other atrium on the other side through the doors! These also have pretty nice motors too, and it's clear that despite being mall elevators they're actually maintained pretty well as they're holding up really well despite having been used so heavily in this setting for the last 22 years. I definitely wish I made it here sooner, but hey, it's better to make it here late than never, right?

I was just here and this is a childhood mall and these elevators are no exception. These elevators remind me of the ones at rosen centre, another place that's very childhood for me. I love these elevators soo much
