But even if I was a bit reluctant at first, Barnes turned out to be an awesome villain, even his design ended up pleasing me. Kind of a strange comparison, but in the *Justice League Snyder Cut* , the way Joker wore cops badges as body armor reminded me of Barne's executioner armor, with the big cop badge/insigne on his left shoulder. And the Battinson's makeup in The Batman 2022 made me think of "Raccoon Barnes" once again ^^ Thanks for the videos, you're doing a hell of a job archiving this awesome show to easily watch specific scenes/storylines without having to watch entire episodes. I don't like this trope that a drop of blood or insanity gas makes people the way they are. You can argue the tech virus makes you more yourself but idk.

Captain Barnes is a great cop and leader but a jerk arrogant doesnt listen and talks down to others. But great at his job. Also that would be funny if Captain Barnes met Reacher they would definitely not get on.
What Captain Nathaniel Barnes's arc should've been in the show Gotham Season 3 Episode 9 - Lock-Up Dr. Maxwell Symon should've been Dr. Simon Hurt aka Doctor Hurt from the comics as a easter egg, he lives, gets arrested and does not get killed by Barnes Barnes should've said - I am judge, jury, and lock-up with the Tetch virus and Lock-Up dialogue like lock them up in a cell or lockdown. Barnes uses a long chain whip as a weapon to pull and rip Kathryn's head off instead of a blade in his arm Barnes should've become Lock-Up from Batman the Animated Series because it suits his personality and he should've had the Lock-Up costume with the black balaclava mask covering his whole head except for his eyes. Honestly, it would've been way better than the Executioner.

This is my favorite arc in Gotham. The way the actor sells the “GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY” is awesome.
Evil or not, he was an awesome character. I wish he returned in season 4 and 5.
