I wish Mahindra offered the Sony sound system as a cost option in the Z7 & Z8 variants as well. Why can't manufacturers get it in their heads that not every good feature needs to be reserved for top end. The L pack is stupid you get a few extras but lose the middle seat, why force a seating config on someone. Seating config should be a buyer choice. The infotainment screen looks pathetic. Quality looks like a 10-12 year old laptop screen. Did I miss something or the Socrpio does not have ventilated setes?
Good design, colors look good, petrol version is better, interiors specifications are getting common these days, good driving performance, some features of top end variant like 6 air bags must have been given in lower variant too, thanks
Good question. They are not comparable in many ways due to diff of construction. If you want something more off road capable then yes. Else the XUV700 remains the more sophisticated ride overall
Scropio indeed has moved up quite a bit in terms of refinement, but its still missing features like reach adjustability of steering, auto IRVM, cooled seats, and so on; which considering that top end will sit close to 25 lakhs, are a big miss. Another area is the space on offer in 2nd and 3rd row of seats and that paltry boot space. A 5 seater with more room in 2nd row with ample boot space would have been better or if you intend to challenge the D-segment, why not stretch it to those lengths and let it be a proper 3 row SUV with some usable boot space.
For that features you can buy an MPV... SUV means tough rugged 4×4 capable.. Still new Scorpio N has lot to offer.. Which includes features as well as 4×4... New Scorpio N is value for money..
Adding ADAS could have been a game changer, seems, they were worried for an impact on XUV700 sales, if that happened, Strange, Siddharth didn't even mentioned it. Also, got an impression that you were comparing more with classic Scorpio than with standards.. Doesn't seem fair. New buyers will definitely focus on value and what's on offer in the class, and not jus on legacy.
If you want ADAS go for XUV700... Simple... Does it make sense to have ADAS in both xuv700 and Scorpio N... And comparing Scorpio N with the competition in its price range.. I believe Scorpio N is way ahead in terms of space, performance, power especially 4×4...
Going forward, ADAS is expected to be pushed in at predicted price range of 4x4, by most manufacturers. Think 3 yrs down the line, as a buyer don't wish to regret my decision. Also, if you can have so many features of Xuv700, then whats stopping you from adding ADAS. Will wait for more comparison before concluding Scorpio an absolute winner in it's class... 🤔

In new Scorpio N we are getting powerful engine, smooth drive, lot of features, AWD, 4×4, a 7 seater suv, which I believe competition is missing

When you tag a line "big daddy" and restrict the feature list to it's class and say value for money... Isn't this an irony. Big daddy of SUV shouldn't be only be based 4x4 or smoother engine.. But should be a game changer and punch over it's weight... Its should an overall winner. Rest my case.

Big daddy necessarily do not mean an suv should be ADAS loaded.. Rather it means an suv with good amount of space, powerful engine, strong💪, capable 4×4.. And a good road presence
