This is my favorite autumn video. I put it on any time of the year when I need to relax or when I need some fall color inspiration. It is like taking a walk through the woods with Jayda and we are both wearing our Autumn Moon Wrap, which is my favorite Jayda project.
After about 6 months of trying with some breaks in between and countless restarts, I've finally made it through the first fan and feather stitch row with the correct number of stitches at the end! 🥹 I'm a beginner, and have only made your market bag before. This project has been my crochet olympics! 😂 But I love this wrap so much that I haven't given up. The pattern itself isn't too complicated, but man, I can NOT count.
Good morning from Texas 😊 I've watched so much of ur content and, at first I could barely make a weird unpretttry, wonky worm 😅 now, at my best day, I'm able to go along with u. That makes it feel like I'm in a private and personal. You have that affect while teaching. Thank you so much
I have wanted to make this shawl for the longest time but was intimidated by the treble crochet. Finally decided to go for it. Using a self striping yarn and it's gorgeous.
This is on my list of things to make! This is so beautiful!!! I have a feeling this shawl will keep me nice and warm in my church. They don't turn off the ac until late October so needless to say it gets incredibly chilly at times!
Love the way you put the colors together, looks like fall is around the corner, and the temps have started to get a little cooler. Your shawl is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for another great tutorial!! Have a great weekend..
Here too, The leaves are to change but is so dry here, we are in a drought big time. So the leaves here won't be as pretty this year. You can walk across some of the river beds and you won't even get wet. We are worried about our well, If the rivers are that low, that means are well is just as low. So we are praying for rain before the freeze and snow,,
Hi Jayda! I usually watch your channel on Roku, but I had to sign in by computer to be able to see the whole thing. I love your channel. You're so fun and explain things so well. Thanks so much for what you do!
I crocheted the Splendid Springtime Shawl with you and love how it turned out. Your tutorials are excellent. Thank you. I am definitely making this one.
I absolutely love this, colors, stitch, not only did I make this, it inspired me to make a sweater and blouse all in fall colors, along with your tutoriol on how you were inspired for fall colors. Thank you
I find myself gravitating towards all of your tutorials. Girl, you are great at your instructions. I just finished this shawl, but I used a Silver Argent/Soft White to make my Feather and Fan shawl. Selling on Etsy. I love the look and your tutorials are easy to follow which I do so appreciate. You are a very lovely young woman and I love that you love crocheting at such a young age. I wish I knew how to share a picture with you, of the one I just finished, using this tutorial as a guide.
Hi Renita, your shawl sounds beautiful :) Thank you so much for watching! I'll be sure to check out your shawl on Etsy, we would appreciate it if you'd add a link to our Etsy shop or this tutorial for the design credit :)
I know beauty isnt everything, but my goodness, you are a true beauty! Your personality just makes you even prettier. You are funny and just a sweetheart and those qualities are so nice to see! Hugs Sweet Gal
Thank you for this tutorial! Just finished an all-white version and it worked up beautifully. What I love about this pattern is that once you get the initial rows done, it's easy to get the rhythm and the rows go by quickly. I added two extra sets of 19 for a longer hang. Much appreciation for your videos!
Thank you for this lovely tutorial, Jayda. It couldn't have come at a better time. Yesterday was my birthday. But, early this morning, my mom died. I can't express my gratitude for these videos enough. Your channel empowers me and others with a way of healing, expressing, and giving ourselves.
Hi Tamera, I am so sorry for your loss. I'm glad to know that you can find some escape and cheeriness in our videos, I hope being crafty can help bring you some peace right now. Take care :)
Thank you, Jayda. I started working on this wrap the same day I learned of her death. My hopes were that I would finish it in time for the funeral. However, I don't see that happening. Don't get me wrong, though. I intend to finish it. But, now isn't the time to be hard on myself. I'll admit that I've started over a few times because I either lost count or I thought something was wrong with the way my trebles looked. I did lose count, but nothing was wrong with my trebles. I'm just being picky, lol.
Happy Friday, Jayda. Oh, my goodness, THIS SHAWL IS MORE THAN GORGEOUS! Looks beautiful on you! I can only imagine in my mind, your husband is enjoying , seeing you model this beautiful shawl! Thank you so much, for being so very helpful to me.
I was not able to crochet last month but because of your easy to follow tuturiaĺs here i have made a blanket and 3 chunky hats. I always wanted to learn to crochet but was scared id shag it up but i got there thanks to you and will be forever endetted to you x
Hi Jayda, I made this wrap and I was having such a hard time with it since September and took a looong break from it but I just had to make it and I'm glad I did. I made it in advance for the autumn and I can't wait to wear it this fall. It has the colors white, cream, beige, sunflower yellow, baby pink, rose, and pink and it is my most favorite thing I have ever made. Thank you enough for a beautiful wrap. Love and Light- Lily Rose
Hi Lily! That sounds just beautiful! I'm so happy to hear that you put it down and went back to it. Sometimes a break is all we need for a pattern to "make sense" 😊
Thank you enough for this beautiful wrap. This is probably the intricate wrap/shawl on your channel. I can't wait to wear it when I go to Blake's Cider Mill in 5he fall. Thanks again!😄😄
Dear Jayda, Thank you for all your videos. I'm sort of a beginner, BUT can watch your videos and you help me remember the pattern without having to refer to a written pattern. I really like that tell us things like... this is done on ALL even rows. You make everything seem like just a simple repeat :) It's quite a gift.
I cannot wait to do this shawl! Have been searching for a few days and this will be lovely in the sports colors I want to make it with (navy and orange)! Thanks Jada! Great pattern and tutorial - I really like watching you and the Mr. in your tutorials!
This is a beautiful wrap, and an easy pattern for those of us who are beginners or are just looking for a nice easy pattern to make into a gorgeous wrap. I'll go grab this one on etsy. Thank you!!
One of my aunts had a blanket with this pattern in her guest room. It was dusty rose. So pretty. Thanks for sharing the pattern. Now I can make one for me.
Jayda you are my go to girl anytime I wana make something and don't know how or I need a helping hand I look throug your videos 1st.. Thanks so much your so helpful and such a great teacher ..
Great tutorial. Love this pattern of feathers and fans. Goes so quick. Love the tip about counting 19 on the half doubles. Really is better than counting your chain because this was you can tell if you made a mistake. Just an FYI to everyone it does shrink up a lot. I started with a 65 inch chain and now shawl is 55 inches. Will have to figure out a bigger boarder due to mine must be 60 inches for my groups minimum measurements.
Beautiful! Fall is my favorite season. I love the veggies from fall harvests. I love the colors. I love the smell the changing season brings. I LOVE ALL OF IT! LOL. Your wrap says all of that to me. And those stitches, Lovely!
Yes you can! If you're new to this sort of stitch, a little tip: don't look at the row below as you're working because it might be confusing (sometimes they don't look like they want to line up), wait until you finished a set of 19 stitches before looking at the row below :)
Thank you so much for this wonderful wrap tutorial!! I had so much fun making this and even better gifting this to another fellow crochet lover...my Aunt
I love this design and a few of your other designs. I am new to crocheting maybe about 3 weeks in and I just finished my 1st pocket Shaw with fringes so I want to make something else in this will be my 2nd project you have explained this very clearly I hope that I'm able to do this I will practice on my trouble crochet one more time before I started but you explained this beautifully thank you sweetheart is a beautiful piece of work and your Gothic shawl will be my next 1 after this thank you so much.
Oh how beautiful! Love your channel...and, love your long hair, never cut it short, lol. You're always so cheerful, and a fantastic teacher! Love from AZ!
This is my favorite autumn video. I put it on any time of the year when I need to relax or when I need some fall color inspiration. It is like taking a walk through the woods with Jayda and we are both wearing our Autumn Moon Wrap, which is my favorite Jayda project.
💗 I love that! Thank you Debbie 😊
I made 2 shawls like this. It's beautiful. Every like it. I could do it because you explain it very nicely and clearly. Thank you very much .

Its unbelievable how clearly you explain this pattern slowly with so clear closeup
Hi Andrew! This is definitely one of the more "complicated" seeming patterns, its awesome that you got the hang of it as a beginner!
Good morning from Texas 😊 I've watched so much of ur content and, at first I could barely make a weird unpretttry, wonky worm 😅 now, at my best day, I'm able to go along with u. That makes it feel like I'm in a private and personal. You have that affect while teaching. Thank you so much

Hi Val! Happy weekend! It's cooling down here for sure, I've pulled the afghans out of storage and have a few on the couch already!
Here too, The leaves are to change but is so dry here, we are in a drought big time. So the leaves here won't be as pretty this year.
