Can you please consider showing your data sources briefly in the start, that would make it easier for beginners like me to understand where you are pulling your data from.
Hmmm. I usually do, sorry I didn't this time. Boo me. you can email me shane at powerapps911 dot com if you need me to send you a screenshot of any of them.
To expand on this you could add a Sort so the user can see the entries alphabetically, and Distinct for when the Dataverse columns have duplicate entries. And a combination of those two with Filter.
As always, great video. When using buttons, rather than using individual buttons, I create a horizontal gallery using a collection to create the buttons. I can then filter on that gallery to display whichever buttons I want (allowing to drill down using the same space (Country...State... City..) without using any extra screen real estate. It also allows me to display certain buttons based on defined user privileges (Admins, Power Users, Standard Users)
Hi sir, I've been following your videos and I've learned alot from you. But I'm currently stuck on a project I've been working on. I have two list, both are SharePoint list, I want to be be able to create an item on the second list (taken an item from the first list and making it an item in the second list), On the click of a button. I've tried using patch function or using power automate, all to no avail. I've watched videos and read, did everything for days now and yet I'm still stuck. Can you please help me sir
Check out this video for so much fun with Random th-cam.com/video/NepvIvoaf9U/w-d-xo.html Shuffle(Table) is the simple answer but lots of fun to be had.
I'm using this method to filter a gallery based on dropdowns and it is working for a regular gallery, but I'm trying to use it on a different gallery which is a flexible height gallery and its not working. It's saying there is a circular reference, but it is not giving this error for the regular gallery. Anyone else have this issue?
This is something app makers must know. Thanks for sharing Shane. I am still learning more from you.

Wow, that went fast 🤯
Way too fast for me but thought I would try the quick version and see if people liked it. :)

I like it.

That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing Tim. 🤩
Thank you Shane
You are welcome.
Hi you make great video, is it possible to use a fingerprint reader on a powerapps application, it would be cool thanks !
I have never tried nor do I have one to test from. So not sure. It would depend on how the finger print reader outputs information I would guess.
the idea just popped into my head - maybe for the ZK4500 model, for example, it could work using its API, it could be a cool app!@@ShanesCows
