why are all thee reviews the bloody same i want to see them putting sofas, wardrobes and loads of shit for the tip into an estate that's why you buy one
Just bought a 2019 Monte Carlo version 6 speed g/box 110ps 200Nm. engine smooth and powerful. No central rear seat headrest though (optional) but child seat fittings std.
Watch out...Skoda seem to have changed the rear seat base on the Series 3 estate, so now you can't fold the seat base forward to allow the rear seat backs to fold forward flat enough to give a near horizontal surface.
I wish the estate version had been NCAP safety tested. I know they mentioned the hatchback version had. Does anyone know about how the tests might compare?
I'd say near identical, the only real difference is a slightly longer/boxier rear end, the rest is exactly the same, probably why they didnt bother/have to get a new test. If anything the longer body increases rear end protection with a marginally larger crumple zone.
I have owned for 1 & 1/2 years the previous Fabia 2 105tdi Elegance estate. Based in SW France we have been to Germany twice, Brittany & Spain, most of my driving is fast country roads & autoroute, I average 55mpg. The sport suspension / seats / 16" wheels do give a firm ride, but very precise handling. Carrying bicycles or all the stuff we take to our boat inc dinghy & outboard, no problem. Fashion statement this car is not, it's a family swiss army knife of a car. I have had coupe's & hot hatches in my younger days, nowadays I don't give a monkeys what you see as I drive by. Those that have experienced modern Skoda's see tutonic German engineering without paying for badge snobbery.
The skoda is no longer a cheap car its only ever been cheap in price after all your getting a Vw built car not the prettiest of cars if you want that buy a clio it will look nice on your drive personally I would would rather have guality over a pretty grill
Must agree, his reports do grate with me, has no credibility in my mind since I saw a video of him as a passenger in a Caterham, when he seemed about ready to burst into tears when he experienced the performance of the car.

Not a happy bunny? You need a two ton pick up.

I wonder why VW don't offer a Polo Estate, considering SEAT and ŠKODA offer estate variants of their superminis
Because Seat and Skoda do 😅
Looks s good reliable and well built car, love that colour also
I have the best small estate ever. 1.2turbo an 7 speed auto clutch. Keep looking at other cars but they never match up, go figure
I'm looking to buy this as a family car (family with 2 kids, one teen and one primary school kid), would it suit that purpose?
Yes without a doubt.
I'd go for the Rapid. It's bigger.

True! Skoda all the way for keeping it real.
I've a Fabia 3 1.4tdi 90bhp and I can get 65mpg.
Very good small estate car 👍
Would you mind doing the new honda jazz review?
I like it

Learn proper English and get to spell correctly.
Buy a Clio? Skoda Fabia looks better than a Clio.
not VW built, made by Skoda in Mlada Boleslav!!!!
Oh what joy, no James Bachelor.
