- Locked On Nittany Lions host Zach Seyko is joined by recruiting insider Brian Smith to discuss the impact Mike Yurcich's firing had on recruiting, what Bekkem Kritza's commitment does for the class of 2025, and if the Nittany Lions could land another quarterback in the same cycle.

After Allar the forseeable future will be exclusively a dual threat QB. It improves the production per carry of the RBs and most importantly the oline can be pretty good and not necessarily elite to win championships.
Believe me they know why Yurcich is gone.
Wow....great conversation on this one....thanks much Zach and Brian Smith.
From what others in the Penn State beat he actually committed Saturday and just didn't announce until Tuesday
I'm not a defensive coordinator but if I was coaching against Penn State I could tell you what play they're going to run just buy the formation and the personnel. It's not rocket science
I agree. Watching them play Mich on Sat, I could tell you what they were going to do 50% of the time. Really an uninspired game plan tbh
Good point about the S&C coach wanting to be the one putting on the weight.
Lol...so quarterback #9...all he does is hand off or run...he NEVER throws the ball, huh?
What a concept!
You should have listened to Beau's press conference. Many of the plays were run pass option. He chose to run
@@adrianflemingl4923 Regardless, all the dude does is run, or all the team does is run whenever he enters the game...is he unable to pass or afraid to.
I mean, if the team can win that way, fine...but in some strange way it is still annoying because it's very predictable.
Beyond obvious that you don't watch. He threw great in the spring game. So you want a quarterback to not make the proper read?? And just throw to satisfy you and others
@@adrianflemingl4923 Little boy, be quiet! What in the hell does the "spring game" have to do with a REAL game!
And I gave my PERSONAL opinion and observation which is "beyond obvious" that it does not "satisfy you and others."
Franklin should be the one to get fired…the annual loser of Michigan & Ohio State 😅😅😅
Name someone better who wants the job. Make sure they have a winning record vs OSU, Michigan and the top 10.
Joe Moorehead, Joe Brady, or C. Kingsbury as well!!!! Just a thought!!!
Chip Kelly!!!
What is his record?
Penn State: boring, sorry and overrated.
10-6 halftime lead over Rutgers 😂.
10-2.
@@zwicker3697 0-2 vs OSU & Michigan.
What did your team ever win?
@@zwicker3697 My team has won plenty since I was 9 years old, back in 1974, when I became a die-hard fan of theirs.
Penn State Nittany Lions kid. That team had the same record as this team, 10-2...about the same ranking, too;finished ranked #7 and beat Baylor 41-20 in the Cotton Bowl.
That 74 team beat 4 top 20 teams, including that #12 Baylor team in the Cotton Bowl.
I know more about Penn State football than you know about yourself and I've forgotten more Penn State football than you will ever know.
We Are, kid...and will always be!
My team then went on to win two national championships, 1982 and 1986.
Joe had a losing record vs OSU and um. Fact.
